What should the race distance % be set to?

This is the second time he's been removed from the league. Recently I actually invited him back (against my better judgement) thinking that we could put our previous differences behind us. Well I was wrong, I have not removed him for his constructive criticism, I have removed him because of his constant & deliberate stirring of trouble.

After I sent him a private message he started to twist my words, edit his comments and make me out as a bad person. I don't need these problems and don't have them with anyone else here and most of you are happy with the way things are. I'd like to keep it that way. I didn't want to remove him but I feel I have no choice.

Back on-topic:

Montoya after the race (Swearing, caution advised)

Yep, it was not a good weekend for Mclaren.

...but Alex i think you were being abit harsh on him, i think the way you chose your words in some of your comments sounded abit rude

Harsh and rude you said?

Well, I'll just leave this here:

This is what he posted on the second page:

Any advice/constructive criticism is welcome.

This came after I offered him some criticism, yes, I was CRITICISING his work, because I didn't like it. So opinions are not allowed then eh? Well anyway, here it is:

Dude, you're starting to annoy me again.

And no, I was not randomly following cars while doing other stuff, you cheaky git. Do you have ADD or something?

1. Please try to not show one car for longer than a minute. - Oh, so now you want me to miss when an overtake is about to happen like the auto camera?

2. Please try at least to present the start of the race better. - How? Would you like me to change video inputs to my webcam and do an impersonation of Murray Walker whilst dancing a jig or something!?

3. Please do not concentrate only on the top 8-10. That is boring and unfair to those, who are in lower positions, like my teammate Webber=ENTERSANDMAN13. - Answered above

4. Please switch more often between all cars. - Answered above[/B

Besides that, he called me a "loud mouth" in a pm and others "bitchy" and whatnot.

Also:

It is a bit disappointing that we have 3 users here who signed up for Full-Quali but haven't submitted a laptime without a reason for it, with nitrorocks being the third week in a row now not to produce one.

Hmm, must say I'm a bit disappointed with the amount of activity in this thread after posting R2 of the weekend results. Maybe it's just a case of sour grapes from some poor finishes.

No, that must be kharma at work...

And at last, I'll just give a very direct example, of how and why my criticism AND complaints were more than reasonable:

At 21:40 in the video, you can see Massa leaving the pits and right behind him, on the track, Raikönen, it was so obvious something would/could happen, why not stay with them with the camera? And tada, I was right, Raikonen lost a wheel, we missed it. Before that, there was AT LEAST one other accident (Trulli it was), after the commentator announced it, dj did NOTHING to show what happened, why if he was holding the controller in his hands? Well, these are only two examples.

And with that, I definatly said everything that needed to be said.

Oh look, you're trying to twist my words again. How come you didn't quote me where I answered no. 5? Once again you are picking and choosing my words to make me look as bad as you possibly can.

I'm not going to bother constructing a list of quotes like you where I pick and choose the sentences to make it into something it's not. I can't believe you even failed to notice the one dude actually sticking up for you just now.

And in answer to your question, part of the reason why I missed some of the incidents is because I couldn't hear the commentators. Not only was the sound going directly into the capture card (so I don't hear it) it was early morning and people were sleeping. I thought I would still do it in manual to appease you somewhat but I guess that didn't work out huh? Can't please everyone sure, but please you? Impossible.

Not twisting your words. DIRECTLY quoting them. Also, I noticed "the one dude sticking up for me". My quote was not against him, but rather an opener for my post, so what are you talking about?

What part of that bit did you not see? or did you not quote that for a reason?

As I already said, it was NOTHING against you. Simply used your post as an opener for my post. (Because you mentioned the words rude and harsh and I wanted to show that others here are guilty of it as much as I am, or actually more)

Oh ok cool.

Just letting everyone know I've given the first post another visual upgrade and have now included complete results for last weekend in its own link.

Monaco soon! :D I know it's not for a month but I can't wait, it's probably my favourite F1 track.

Think this should get pretty interesting as it progresses, swings and roundabouts style.

It's pretty surprising that I (who got podiums in the first & second races) was a DNF as well as GT4 Genius who got 1st in Sepang. Should make for some interesting races later on.

Sucks that both me and lbsf1 were both DNF's though, no points at all for Mclaren last week. :(

It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact he has 4 points on the table, would it? :sly:

But no, sorry. It's one of the rules and if I allowed you to change, I would have to allow any of the other random-quali users to change to say; Coulthard for instance (as he has 3 points).

EDIT:

I'll let you change to him on the condition that I wipe his points clean, your choice. I will change the rules to reflect this for all so anyone still without points can try their luck with another driver.

That is Exactly what i was going to suggest. I would like to be Rosberg please, purely because i prefer him IRL, my game will be arriving tomorrow and i have no clue what IMOLA is like! :scared:

Done! And I look forward to your time in Imola. Hopefully once you get the hang of it you can challenge ipswich1992, noone here has managed to yet!

New rule added:

You may change drivers ONCE, under the conditions that your current driver has no points, you pick one that's available & if the AI has acquired any points; they be wiped clean.

EDIT:

And you prefer him in real life? What did you think about his performance in the last race at Bahrain? :D

Alonso wasn't too happy that's for sure.

Hi, thanks for your interest!

I'm not being funny but does the first post not explain it properly? It bothers me if newcomers don't understand how the league works by reading the first post which is why I'm asking. :)

All you need to do is tell me which driver you choose and whether you will be taking part in full qualifying (game required) or random qualifying (no game required).

Also, how did you find out about this league?

Thanks!

Imola is amazing.

Does that mean you'll finally be investing a time? :D

I'm not hassling you I'm just wondering if this will be the weekend where you actually enter a one...

Imola... not my strongest track. Granted, I have very few "Strong" tracks.

This week I should be able to turn in a time. I'm hoping that between my qualifying, and maybe some luck with Weather and Crashes, that MAYBE I could pull out a win for this season?

Regardless of whether I get on the podium again, I'm hoping for consistent performance from Button for the rest of the season, helped by some consistent qualifying results.

Wouldn't it be awesome if it rained for Monaco? I'm down with that.

That would be awesome! ^

DJ - I dont support him (just more than webber lol).
Im more of a Lotus Renault (as you can see ) or Mclaren Guy. 👍
