Dark Elite - Because we talk about specific car - Skyline, how to achieve 300+ mph. In thread 300mph Club, try to find info for specific car, there is so many pages that you need weeks to read all this.
It is a fairly simple procedure to use the "Search this thread" option and type in the word "Skyline".

yeah, but try it, how many posts you will receive??? huge amount! So I tried to search more detailed, "skyline + word that can help me to find info regarding setups or how to achieve 300+ mph", but it shows huge amount of pages with word skyline!

I searched that thread for Skyline setup and got 15 results.

and you saw in those 15 posts any skyline setup? :) If almost everyone wants that this is discussed in 300mph club thread then why this thread isn`t closed? I found this thread about fastest skyline and I decided that this is more specific where to ask my problem not in 300mph club thread. :) ok whatever, if moderator wants he can move all this conversation to 300mph club thread! And actually now we are talking nothing that is useful to this thread readers!

We're not looking for one. Did you find one?

Chances are that the people in that thread are the only ones to have got a Skyline over 300mph, but the settings may not be posted as they're in a competition to see who can go fastest. Its a long shot, but perhaps asking the people who have done it would be a good idea?

ok. everything is clear to everyone and latest posts where we talk about where to post correctly, should be deleted! :)

Will drive and drive and try to find if somehow my car will start to shake or not :)

Setup is made that car start to shake, so I have to drive this course even 100 times and maybe one of these races my car will start to shake and i`ll be able to get over 300mph?

Do your car shakes every time when you do a 300mph run? Is this experience or luck to get car shake?

I don`t understand actually this thing!

You've nailed it just there! The Skyline I used to make the 342mph run is my third one; in the process of developing the setup I've easily done more than 100 runs and no the car doesn't always shake. It's a mixture of both experience and luck. I know what not to do and made the setup more consistent, but it doesn't always work - so keep trying and it'll do it eventually.

Leo, you're breaking the unwritten rules of 4WD high speed tuning! They don't need to know, and the power is taken into account with the gearing ;)

Edit: Though look who's talking, me being the one who's gone a step further and given my setup away; but only a couple of people know if it's truely been taken in the right direction :dunce:.

In thread 300mph Club, try to find info for specific car, there is so many pages that you need weeks to read all this. I think easier is to find a thread named fastest skyline and then I know that there won`t be full of info about other cars. For sample, I won`t look in thread fastest supra ever, if i`m driving skyline. In each thread you can share your setups and there won`t be mess of setups for many cars!
Which is why, although being one of several people who have read every single post in the 300mph Club thread I can't quite sympathise, I said you would have been better to ask in the 300mph Club thread, which does not involve reading every page of the thread as it is now.

- 300mph Club, results in first post, and then discussion only about results.
- 2nd post, links for new thread for car discussion - skylines, supras, subaru, and so on..
Which is quite close to what we have now - although rather than having a huge list of speeds in one post, we have an offsite Leaderboard page with proper formatting and a database input system.
Which would completely cover the GT4 Tuning and Settings Forum with endless, repetitive threads, the sole purpose of which is to give away all of the secrets to high-speed tuning - which I've always believed people should find out for themselves. That gives understanding and progress, rather than just results.
