^That's just being a 🤬 it's not even a telemarketer it's tech support which means the guy from the video called the one being "pranked"
EDIT: He mentions he calls him up. Still, it's their job though, no need to trat them like that. Maybe kid with them or confuse them but it was a little too much.

There is a point where you are on your umpteenth non-English native language tech support guy who can't understand you and who you can't understand and you just go crazy. This guy was far nicer by just giving him a hard time than a lot of people who go off in an angry fit at the first accented syllable.

I wish I had seen that video a half hour earlier. I keep getting a call from "Windows support" saying that my computer has sent error reports to them. I traced the number back to AOL Moviefone in NY, NY and apparently a lot of overseas scammers use that number for this kind of crap. They've called almost every night the past week or so and I've told them that there are no problems, that my number is private and it's a new number that I haven't given out to anyone yet. Next time they call I'm going to replicate the video above.

Its a Jersey thing bro, you wouldnt understand :P

Basically this guy Fandango is really anal about how people pronounce his name. He just got beaten the crap out of by Chris Jericho for a good 10mins but still manages to correct the announcer.... Also everyone loves his entrance music, its no.14 in iTunes chart iirc.

Video description suggests accelerator pedal got stuck.

If that was the case, I wouldn't have thought of putting the car back into drive after reversing uncontrollably. :odd:

Always amazes me about the people that get into these situations: Do they really panic so much that it doesn't occur to them to simply turn the car off? They literally have an on/off switch.. use it.

Manual transmission FTW. Push the clutch or just force the stick out of gear, two more ways of disengaging the wheels from the engine.

Better yet, shift the car into neutral.

Exactly. Then kill it when stopped. I assume the reverse was from an attempt to catch neutral. Prob grabbed the lock button and shifted up. They have R lock out if you push it up into neutral. Some people really shouldn't drive. No wonder insurance is so high. Hahaha

If jumping to reverse was the result of trying to hit neutral, maybe switching back to drive was the same thing.

Being in a car in reverse with the accelerator stuck probably isn't much better than Drive. My question is why she didn't just leave it in drive once she had it pinned against the side of the garage.

Maybe the driver deployed video game logic.

"Car is continuously moving into the wall therefore car is continuously receiving damage."

You've played Driver (PSX) before?

I have a feeling she was trying to shift the car into park, but somehow missed.

That car crash video is insane. Makes me glad I've got a manual so I can just depress the clutch.
Anyways, for anyone in the UK who has seen the "Nah, you're alright" Mcdonalds ads:

*SLIGHT NUDITY AT END OF VIDEO*

^ Car crash video.

I don't see any brake lights, it's hard to tell but you'd think the 3rd light would at least be visible there at the end. Also notice the initial acceleration happens at the time she would hit the brakes. I'd say the gas pedal was mistaken for the brake.

Or is it not possible to shift into reverse from drive without depressing the brake?
