Some of that stuff is interesting to read...
As for me, I don't really believe in ghosts and such, although there were a few things in my life that I couldn't explain when they happened, but, in hindsight, there always was some sort of explanations.
Now, on the other hand, I know exactly two people that had all kinds of experiences for which they had no explanation. Of course, I only know what they told me, so it's hard to tell whether they've skipped out on an important bit here or there that would lead to a proper explanation.
One of the earliest things that happened was when a friend of mine stayed at my parents place with me, back when I was in school, which he did quite often.
Now, back in the day, I used to live in the attic that was turned into a bedroom, so it wasn't exactly on ground level. I usually was the one to be asleep first, and on a few occassions, he told me he felt someone watching him - I never thought much of that, even when he started to tell me that he had seen a pair of pale, faintly white-glowing eyes watching him from the window. I just thought that he was just dreaming or trying to pull a prank on me (actually, I still partially think so, today).
Now, what got me a bit confused was when the following happened:
He was staying at my place for the night yet again. The eyes thingy had happened (according to him) four or maybe five times before. So, as per usual, we went to bed somewhen very late at night (3 o'clock in the morning or so), and the eyes appeared again. Up to this point, it was the same as before. But, all of a sudden, according to him, the eyes moved closer, came through the window and into the room, as if the person the eyes belonged to climbed into the room. And, as the eyes entered, it made a relatively loud 'thud' noise, as if someone was landing on his feet. The weird thing is, I woke up at that very same moment (according to him, again) because I heard some noise. Of course, I couldn't identify it, as I was asleep when it happened.
He looked really, really frightened when he started to tell me about it. I kinda still believe that he made the noise himself, but he refused to stay for a night at my parents house ever after - possibly because he wanted to make sure his act was believable, but I really don't know.
From then on, he reported about multiple similar experiences, always involving a pair of faintly glowing eyes. Maybe he's just a nutcase, I don't know... I actually haven't been in touch with him for a year and a half, but he told me about these encounters quite a few times before and even blamed me for them once.
The second person I know that's been telling me about weird experiences like these is an ex-girlfriend of mine. I never considered her to be the most rational person in the world, far from it, but some of the stuff she told was indeed, well, strange. She reported multiple strange experiences, and while I was still living at my parents place, I wasn't buying into that, at all.
Now, the strange experiences she reported were mostly of the same kind: She was dreaming about something, and something very similar would happen in the real world. Again, my first though was that she, too, was trying to mess with me a bit. She told me stuff about dreaming she was breaking a few plates by throwing them on the floor of the kitchen, only to really find a few plates on the kitchen floor, broken of course, the morning after. Same with stuff in her room and such.
After a while, I actually started to believe that she was indeed finding these things the morning after having dreams like those, and I though she was sleepwalking. Now, I moved in with her and lived with her for about a year, and during the first four months, nothing really happened, so I thought I was right - she was indeed either making it up, or was sleepwalking.
One day, though, she woke up in the middle of the night and woke me up as well, telling me she just dreamed about throwing all of the knifes and forks out of the corresponding drawer, and that, in her dream, she cut herself. She then proceeded to show me her hand, and there really was a small cut. I actually thought she somehow scratched her hand herself somehow to cause that cut and that was reflected in her dream, so to speak.
She kept bothering me about it, so, even though I just wanted to go back to sleep, she made me walk into the kitchen with her, and, what do you know, there really was a single knife laying on the floor, and the drawer was still open.
Now, personally, I still believe that she was sleepwalking, got up without waking me up and did it herself, then got back into bed and woke up a bit later. It's just hard to believe that I didn't wake up, but I still think it's the most reasonable assumption, even though I usually am not one to be very fast asleep and am easily woken up. Anyways, nothing of that sort happened thereafter, so I didn't really bother to think much about it. The only thing I wish I had done at the time would've been to take a closer look at the knife, to see whether there was a bit of bloord on the blade.
At the end of the day, I still do not believe in ghosts or similar things and can explain all of these events somehow, but they still are, you know, a bit strange. Not that I'd be really pondering these things, but it makes for a nice story to share.
