Good luck to you as I feel your pain! Here is a nice shot of my YLOD'd fat PS3 motherboard attached to the wall under my controller charger, above is the 80GB hard drive wired up to my current slim-line for backups from said YLDOD'd PS3. I have seen some people fix theirs, but I was unable to.

Yeah, the screen is a minuscule HD 10 footer... That basement is the only reason I bought the house!! Flames accent both sides of the screen, and I turned the storage area (to the right of the gadgets you see on the wall) to a built in (covered in flames as well) to house my PS2, PS3, XBOX, and Surround sound.
