Yeah, bit light on entries so far. Hopefully there'll be a big rush near the end like always
This round promises to be even worse for the votes...
The idea counts more than the time spent on work itself. Look at @teensonacid and @D-Max entries : no huge decal creation, no complex shapes, yet two strong and bold designs! It's going to be a struggle for me to enter. End of the month is manic for work and I've barely been home and wont have much time this weekend.
I'm going to try and do as much as I can Sunday 👍
My livery took no more than a very interrupted 50 minutes. I had my phone going and kids requests to deal with. The idea counts more than the time spent on work itself. Look at @teensonacid and @D-Max entries : no huge decal creation, no complex shapes, yet two strong and bold designs!
Have nice holidays, you deserve it. Thanks a lot for the continuing brilliant work in these threads. Have fun! Avec plaisir !ABOUT THE DEADLINE
I’m on holidays next week.
Jesus Christ, how do mortals compete with this?!
Is that my entry I see in your motion shot
Out of curiosity, what’s the Williams logo? The story :
Get rid of your mental chains.
Embrace the freedom of speed.
This is it.
EXODE.
The new Lotus Exode marks the come back of Hethel's fine car manufacturer to the Promised Land of victories at the highstep of motorsports.
Lotus new owner Geely bought Genii, and so Lotus F1 reborn from the previous Renault team, as they leave Formula 1 to focus on engine production only.

The livery :
The car uses the new 2019 logo and signature along with the famous green/yellow colours, as seen lately in the Evora GT4 concept. I've used the bare carbon base of the X2019, where I added transparent layers of green shapes, to keep the carbon waves and metallic effect. The yellow and black accents follow the lines of the car or the vents.
As the car is powered by a Renault Sport unit, the black and yellow color scheme on the engine cover is a tribute to the "defunct" RS Team. Lotus already paired with Williams Advanced System to develop the Evija's batteries, so it was logical to bring them back too for the hybrid systems of this car.
I've also imagined that at this point, Gran Turismo will be the partner of some team, whether it will be because of a pilot for the FIAGTC is on F1 or because the X2019 was imagined at first in GT before being alive on tracks in 2015. Hence the presence of the Nations Cup logo too.
Yes it is! I wanted to do a group shot, but the only options in the game are « custom races » where all the cars have the same default livery, or the X2019 Cup where the GT numberplate is mandatory. So I took a scape with yours, as it was made for the same 2025 theme and I already had it on my X2014.Is that my entry I see in your motion shot

Ah yes. Frank can’t make money from his race team, so sells stuff. I forgot they were a very reputable business outside of F1, just like mclarenYes it is! After @Lost Sheltie post, it would have made sense to do the shot with the Lynk&Co too, as it’s made by Geely too!

Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich“Audi has consistently been using motorsport to test and develop new technologies further for subsequent use in production. With quattro drive we revolutionized rally racing and subsequently set standards in circuit racing as well. In the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Audi was the first manufacturer to have achieved victories with a TFSI engine, a TDI and a hybrid race car, so writing motorsport history on several occasions. Now we intend to repeat this in the world’s fastest racing series. Formula 1 with its races being held around the world is an ideal stage for this purpose.”
