I really like the mix between some very serious liveries, and others more in the funny interpretation.

I like it too, and I've changed my mind, I've done a serious (and some kind of "funny") race car livery.

I'm hesitating between the two versions I've made and will be posting it in the afternoon I guess. :)
 
I'm one of the few cats that enjoys a pink car, I have a few good of 'em in my garage but they are all replicas or replica heavily inspired that I can't enter here unfortunately :P

I've already shared in-game the two versions I've made but I haven't taken the good pictures to share them here so I'm planning to doing it tomorrow night after work.

When you think about pink, you think about bold colours. So I’ve used it with a sponsor which already have a pink logo and need to promote its finest TV sets, which can display a wide range of colours. LG just released Nvidia Gsync compatibilty for their OLED TVs, the perfect pair for (PC) gamers.

I used a black matte base and covered it with glossy decals to create a contrast (using align / depht and angle were a pain to do in order to keep the wheel arches black). For the body, I’ve maxed out the decals limit with all shades and various gradients of pink. This helps to keep a bold design but not too flashy like a plain fluorescent pink. I wanted another contrasted colour and the bright yellow Dunlop tires were perfect at it, so I’ve extended the idea to all the secondary sponsors to create a kind of two-tone effect. Some sponsors come from the base WRX Gr.3 model and others are usual Subaru partners (like Cusco).

I know LG is korean and so I thought about the Huyndai Genesis Gr.3 but eventually I wanted to work with the DTM-style arches of the Subby.

This is my first proper attempt at an anime livery and I chose the 1980's cartoon show called Macross which after watching a couple of episodes appears to be about space combat with characters who play music and embark upon typically crazy anime tomfoolery (in short I had little clue what was happening :D) I had several attempts at different designs and not just anime but this is the one I chose and I'm happy with how it turned out.

Thanks buddy, I enjoyed this livery a lot though the supra's rear curves make for some interesting challenges! I do like to work on this car though too and love the fact you can use decals on the rear diffuser and rear wing supports

Because I had no time I wanted to do a simple street livery but then I thought about the Cobra and wanted to do some kind of old school race livery with it.

When looking at my decals I fell on some old GTA decals and realized that the Cobra was the Declasse Mamba in GTA and wanted to mix GT and GTA (once again).

So I decided to go with the the classic colors of Vice City with the gradient pink and the triangle for example, and added some GTA sponsors, as the famous Vanilla Unicorn and some others.

This livery is far from a masterpiece but it fits the theme and I think it's the less I could do!
I hope I'll get one vote just for the "different" work I did! :D

Actually, I have no clue of the end of the poll this week. With such a bold colour, personal taste is highly involved and I can’t predict any trend.
