Just like my friend from above, I went for the Lancia Beta Montecarlo, but in its 1979 Le Mans livery.

But although @Raphaele respected the origins of the car by picking the Ferrari, I felt that the side air intake and the overall design will fit better on Ferrari’s best rival...

I might add some tweaks later (one decal is not 100% perfect and I still hesitate between a replica or a Sport mode version).

Edit : corrected the Britax decal, added Carelli and made the livery sport mode friendly.

At least I secure my spot, and I’m happy to be back on the competition.

That is awesome!

This LEC is getting very expensive for me, I have to buy a shipload of cars to own all these Group 5 delights :drool:

And here we are. This might be my favorite LEC so far. I have MULTIPLE liveries unfinished and unworthy of submission because the entries here are so damn good. Every entry so far has been outstanding. I'm so happy to be contributing to this community. I'm also pretty stoked nobody hit the Silvia yet. Because I'm sure you'd all do a better job than I did, but hey, I sure had fun with it

Now I know that I can stretch the decals in another way. I made x liveries and I didn't know that.

If I may have one suggestion for your next video : if you know you’re going to do a timelapse, take the time to sort all the needed decals in one favourite folder. You’ll save time AND the attention of the viewer instead of scrolling down the whole 890 decal list everytime.

and noted, in future I gonna skip that one so hopefully it MUCH more slower timelapse :lol: I usually aiming 10 minutes work timelapse.

It's a VGT not related to any base model.

The game says it's a sport car but it really embraces the design of the original car...

Edit : it's almost finished, I hope it will be good, if not I'll try to do it on another car next week.

The color seems to be orange on these pics but I found other sources where it was red, which is more like the regular BMW Motorsports colors.

So here is my BMW VGT, tribute to the BMW 320 GR.5 from 1978.

I used some tricks to make it look more like a race car, hopefully it will be allowed.
As I said I would understand if it's not, and I'll try to do it on another BMW race car, but I thought the VGT was the perfect one for this project. :)

I am not making the decisions, but I really hoped someone will be brave enough to make a livery on the VGT! Looks good!

I’ll allow it.. just because the car was designed as a race car with the CSL in mind and your livery stays true to the idea at hand. 👍
