Although very young, this livery is iconic (mostly because it was plastered on everything from Drift Mustangs to Porsche GT Cup) and thus has already been discussed.

So I did a bit of leg work for you, i.e. looked through some of the earlier pages.

A general consensus of what's close is, and I've given cheap and expensive options:

Green= Triumph Spitfires Java
Lexus LFAs Sky Blue

Blue= R33 LM Editions Cahmpion Blue
Suzuki Wagon R RRs Monaco Blue

Aiiiight!

Thanks for the help mate.

Btw. I wouldn't call a 24 years old livery young. The first time this design was used was in 1991 in the JTC.
The first time I saw this Livery in 1999 at the 24h race at Nurburgring Nordschleife I was completly blown away. I loved it and the Skyline R33 even made it more amazing. The first time I have seen a Skyline.

In addition to my last batch of requests, which is on the previous page, is there a color matching the Jetblau Metallic of the Audi R8, since you don't get a paint chip when buying the car.

Firstly, I would like to apologize for the image-heavy post.

Also, before I get to my main request, I would like to know if there is a color matching the Jetblau Metallic of the Audi R8, since you don't get a paint chip when buying the car.

Anyway, as mentioned earlier, I'm back, and this time I am here to ask for color matches for the coats/bodies of Princess Luna, Princess Celestia and each of the Mane 6.

As with last time, I thank each and every one of you for any and all help which you can offer.

Pinkie Pie:

Rarity:

Closest I could get in my search:

Princess Luna: GT Old Generation 004-W

Princess Celestia: Ghost White

Rainbow Dash: GT Fluorescence 001-C

AppleJack: Rosso Arancio Rally

Fluttershy: Giallo Corona

Twilight Sparkle: GT Fluorescence 010-W or GT old Generation 004-W

Pinkie Pie: GT6 Polarized 009

Rarity: Pegasus White

Hope that helps.

Edit: As for the closest color to Jetblau Metallic for the Audi R8 (5.2 FSI Quattro by any chance?), Silver Blue appears to be the closest I can find.

Guess while I'm at it, would any of you guys a happen to know the closest color for this:

I plan on painting my 2nd LM55 a similar color.

What cars do Rosso Arancio Rally, Giallo Corona and Pegasus White come from?

If your talking about the mugelloblau or sepenblau, they are available with the Audi RS 6 Avant '08. The A8 showed them mixed into one but by themselves they look close enough.

Edit- I was looking at the wrong A8

Hello hello. Seeking out your eyes and feedback to help me look for a color chip that is close to matching R0 G0 G255 blue, also known as "Pure Blue". I continue from this thread, https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/help-in-matching-a-livery-color.327261/#post-10643385

I am looking for it to be exclusively a solid color. For the time being, I am not interested in metallic or pearl or any other variant texture. Although if you think there is a textured blue that is close to solid, I'd definately also appreciate taking a look at it. But for the meanwhile, a solid "Pure Blue" is what my heart desires.

These are blues that I found to be possible candidates the pure blue I seek, but I would appreciate the feedback as well. These are colors I have for candidacy, and displayed in one of my signature vehicles from my Scuderia ;) :

Capri Blue.jpg

This was the original color I had thought was the closest to pure blue (Capri Blue, from the Ford Kia) but as others have made me realize, it is a blue that is thrown more towards violet. A gorgeous color, stands out really well on the grid, but alas, not what I am looking for, not my ideal blue anyways.

Blue Santorin.jpg

Blue Santorin. Nice color, but it looks a bit "Grape Blue" and as blueish as I'd like it to be.

Champion Blue.jpg

Champion Blue (from Nissan). A little more closer to the blue that I am thinking off, but still has that "Grape Blue" feel to it. The blue is a tad softer than I prefer.

French Blue.jpg

French Blue. It is getting a little closer the pure blue I am looking for, somewhat similar to Champion Blue. The blue still looks a bit soft.

French Racing Blue.jpg

French Racing Blue. At first I thought my eyes deceived me (Being a tad colorblind between blues and purple shades, it has made distrust my own perception), after all, this blue look quite blueish, but was a bit disappointed to see how bright it is.

Lance Blue.jpg

Lance Blue. Also a bit disappointed, aside from being brighter than I'd prefer, it looked liked the blue on this one looked more moderate and softer than I like.

Mariner Blue.jpg

Mariner Blue (from Mazda). One of the first blues I used when I began racing in GT5 days. It was nice, but again, it has that "Grape" feel to it. Not blue enough, heheh.

Phoenix Blue.jpg

Phoenix Blue. Now this one was looking promising, a somewhat intense blue, but a bit bright for my taste.

Racing Blue.jpg

Racing Blue. Somewhat "Grapish" but It appears that this one actually has the brightness that I am looking for (Not dark nor bright), and definitely appears close the "Pure Blue" I absolutely adore.

Reflex Blue.jpg

Reflex Blue (from Caterham). Now THIS one is starting to come closer to that "Pure Blue" ideal. Very blueish, doesn't seem to be closer to other colors. Also very mid mid, although I can't help but feel it is edges towards a dark tone.

Sonic Blue Clear Coat.jpg

Sonic Blue Clearcoat. Also a very promising blue, it appears very very blue, and unlike the Reflex blue, it appears very "Mid" neither bright nor dark.

Of the ones I listed above, which one do you think comes closest to the "Pure Blue" color of R0 G0 B255 characteristic? Or Can you think of another blue that is far far closer than the ones I already listed?

Try Cyberia Blue from the Mazda Autozam.

I know in GT5 all of the paints available on the V10 R8 could be gotten from the LMS. Much cheaper now and can be bought at any time but I don't know if it is possible for GT6.
Does anyone have a match to the white on the back half of the ZR1 LM that I can use on the front half? What about a solid blue for wings and wheels to match the roof color of the silver and blue MG TF160?

It is.

That was my goal when I picked Sarajevo White from the Mitsubishi Lancer EX 1800GSR IC Turbo '83 for mine.

Got any ideas for the MG convertible top blue?
Hunting now. The fact that the top color changes when you paint the body makes it impossible for comparison purposes and wheels have all sorts of textures and shadow effects. What wheels do you want it to have? Might help me in my search.

Edit: Blu Dino from the Ferrari 512BB '76 looks awful close on Volk Triniti 5s (selected to minimize shading from deep lips and provide enough surface area for comparison while still having some texture).

Try Cyberia Blue from the Mazda Autozam.

Just gave a Cyberia Blue a go. And after sorting with other solid blues out there (especially with Imperial Blue and Blue from Garaiya), Cyberia Blue is the sure winner! Definately is the closest to the pure blue ideal that I am looking for, and it looks wonderfull!

Cyberia Blue.jpg

Absolutely loving it! Definately the blue I was looking for, and surely the color that my scuderia will wield from here on. Thank you so much @Roflwaffle ! Escuderia Andius has at last found it's colors. >=D

Personally, I think the Sonic Blue Clearcoat is slightly more intensely blue as in your avatar, though if you're looking for a solid color, Cyberia Blue is probably the best choice. They're very close, if you look at them side by side.

Sonic Blue Clearcoat was definitely a strong candidate for me, and I agree that it is definitely very intensive on the blue. The reason I preferred the Cyberia is because the Sonic Blue was leaning more towards a "metallic" texture, and I wanted precisely a "solid" one with as little reflection as possible without barring to close a matte texture.

i only see one...
There's a dark green and a light one.

The light One is similar to Verde Countach, and the darker One looks like a light British Racing Green. Quite close to Boston Green from the Caterham 7 Fireblade.
