The GTP team awards!

I spotted this on the forza forums and figured it would be a good idea to form our own. Basically there are several different categories and you get to vote for your favourite team in each category.

Here's some ideas for categories;

Best US Team
Best Euro Team
Best Asian Team? (is their one other than team mixi?)
Best Newcomers
Most laidback Team
Most Improved Team
Most Active Team

Please post any idea's for categories here. Once we have enough, i'll let you guys start voting!

Honestly don't know how many fingers you have, but there definatly more than 4 teams

Lol, seriously, there is not a single team that is better then the matsuri missiles. The SS are the most active with only 5000 posts? Lol. As for the other things, im curious. My team improved very well, perhaps we are the best in europe but we havent battled at all. But everyone knows how good baha , gauz and the other wheel users are. With DS3 everyone is nearly the same.

It isn't hard getting that many posts when you have a million members.

In regard to the topic, I think "best ______ team" isn't the right way to do things, there's more to a team than skill and battles, but what do I know.

Quality>Quantity always. Active how? Do you give anything to the community? Maybe you organise and run comps here? Being active is not about how much off-topic posting you can get away with but how active 'in' the community you are and I don't think i've ever seen one of your team in our rooms yet we've seen members from almost every other team. That's active.

Lol at your first point about running competitions, Hayden organised GTP H2H Competition. Now we have Monstar running his S13 Royale, there goes that point.

We probably don't interact as much with teams on GTP as we'd like to besides ICY BOYS, due to the fact that the teams who approach us for battles don't respond half the time. But rather the other half of the time we interact with teams outside of GTP. Hell, I was tempted to join your open lobby yesterday but SS was trying to figure out some other problems at the time.

A quick peek at your thread will reveal you have nearly 40 members, including inactives. That is a massive amount of people, don't be naive. If you wanted to count total team thread post count as active, SFX would be by far, without a doubt the most active.

You have 40 members, 5k posts, and a lot of offtopic.

We have 8 members, 2k posts, and is almost exclusively ontopic. (except lately)

You do the math.

Anyways, these awards are pointless, there's seriously no point except to brag, which is idiotic in the first place.
