Has anyone seen the news section today?

So yeah, PD are cracking down, although it seems to mostly target people using the hybrids for their own gain online, and not so much those doing it for fun. This is pretty much confirmation that PD don't want to see these hybrids though, so you people should watch out. I'll still keep this thread open, though if PD start doing mass bannings on everyone involved with this or similar threads, I'll have it closed.

I think they will ban the guys who change their ID name and country flag in Online races with the secret menu. I don't believe they will do this to the people who use hybrid cars...They (we) are so many...

It doesn't actually work, lol. At least, it didn't for me, so I'm pretty sure that's not it.

I'll continue use my hybrids Online and if PD will ban me..they probably just will loose a future customer who has already ALL SONY consoles and many many games...

At least PD has a reason. I got console banned on Forza for swapping manufacture rims. But then they realized just how many people were involved, then granted amensty. Don't think PD will let up for just lowering your car.

To be honest, the way for I see it and from what I gather. Xbox Live bans people over every little thing wether they are doing anything wrong or not. While people do really big things on PSN and they hardly ban anybody at all.

As always I could be wrong, this is just my 2 cents.;)
 
That's not going to stop me from doing hybrids for my entertainment in GT Life.
I mean,seriously. I'm having fun trying to replicate cars from Gran Turismo 1. :lol:

Right now,I'm doing the [R] NSX-R GT1 Turbo from the Japanese Gran Turismo 1 by using the Acura NSX RM. It's feels really nice when they come to life.

Besides,online racing wasn't a huge deal for me.

This is why i was never really interested in Seasonal Events, And Online Services after Hybrids appeared :), I guess ill Stay in Lounges and use Legit Credits.
 


After som e testing, i finnlay got the R32 looking good.


Good and low.


And found the perfect family car.

1200hp RS6, gotta get the kids to school in time.

Guys. They arent going to ban you if you habe them in your garage or use them offline. Dont delete them!!!!

I can offer you 99.9999999% guarantee on that.
Was talking to my father thismorning (he is a IP lawyer) they will only ban people using them in online challenges because otherwise they would have a PR mess on their hands. If you havent allready deleted the best cars to come to GT5... dont!!

You dont have to. There are many other liability/PR reasons they wont ban you. Pm me of concerned.

I won't be deleting mine. The news release says "the offending accounts have been banned from the service". To me that means they already banned who they were going to ban...

I deleted mine, but they weren't very good in the first place. I've only kept one as its really fun to drive and is now on a different account. I'd rather not risk having it on my main account.
 
Wouldnt be the first time i had to start over, but i sort of dbout they will go ban ppl for having a little fun offline and maybe on freerun servers. Only i hope gets banned are those kids who make 40kwhp Fiats with x11 chassis

Well I just got a flash drive last night lol so it's mainly I've wanted to make my own hybrids for awhile now so now that I know how im going nuts Modding cars lol and if I do get banned then my mistake and ill give the game away
 
I made my way through this thread an have to say, AWESOME pictures!
I really like the "realistic" mods.

It's a shame, that we can't mod our cars like this in the actual game. :(
 
So I hear PD are banning people only if you used the car in online challenges.
So I have some questions:
1. If I used my Toyota 7 with a Nascar engine swap in the 700PP Challenge (Whichever one had the La Sarthe race with the High powered racecars), will I get banned?
2. Do you get banned from GT5 or PSN?
 
I dont think you will be banned by using it in races where there is only bots (?)
But if you take it out in Time trail or drift trail, i belive you might be punished

IF you are that unlucky, its GT5 ONLINE you will be banend from.

Oh ok, I never used my Hybrids in Drift or Time challenges.

It also says "Usage of illicitly modified game data and any mischievous conduct against other players using such data are strictly prohibited."

By game data are they getting it confused with save data?:confused:
