This thread is simply for competition in terms of performance. There is to be no discussion about how these cars are made, or where you can go to find out. If you do anyways, and this becomes a problem, this thread will be locked instantly, so let's try to not make that happen

Also, please don't PM the people who posts asking about any of this either.

Of course, discussion about the specs of the cars are alright, like amount of horsepower, or ride-height etc. pictures are optional for the tune

For those of you who don't know how these cars are made: Don't ask.
For those of you who do know how these cars are made: Don't tell.

Here's an example I did with my own hybrids:

Basic things you need to know:

The competiton will have three classifications. The following classes are:
*NOTE: THERE'S NO POWER RESTRICTIONS

N.A. Hybrid Class
This class will feature cars with no forced induction with mostly 200-300+ HP. This class runs Racing Hards (for lower HP and struggling cars like AE86), and Sports Soft.
Turbo Hybrid Class
This class will feature cars with forced induction with mostly 340-420+HP.
This class runs Racing Hards (for lower HP and struggling cars like AE86), and Sports Soft.
Supercharged Hybrid Class
This class will feature cars with forced induction with mostly 200-370+HP. This class runs Racing Hards (for lower HP and struggling cars like AE86), and Sports Soft.

Any parts is allowed as this competition will be taken at Tsukuba and will be familiar with the Super Lap Battles (shown in Video Option). Sports Soft will be the highest tires allowed meaning Slick Tires are banned (Racing Hard and above). Racing Hards will ONLY be allowed for cars that tend to struggle with high HP (like AE86). Must be REALISTIC HYBRIDS too!!

How do I sign up?

Post your hybrid parts you've done and your tuning menu settings in either PM (highly recommended) or here in this thread.

Once your car has been posted, DO NOT make any changes to it UNTIL testing starts happening for the tester's desire.

The Track
Tsukuba Circuit

Cars are timed at the Tsukuba Circuit for the fastest time for their class.

What happens during a competition

- Testers test the car for attack
- Testers may give feedback for any flaw before re-running with new setting.
- Each participant's car is assigned to one of the testers rather than having all the testers drive the same car for the best before moving on.

Winner will hold the lap record in this competition series until the next season.

Can 2.14 users compete as well? I am willing to be a tester. I also have some cars for ya, but I need to know your definition of realistic hybrids.

I definitely would love to have another tester. For people who hybrided in 2.14; I might as well split the hybrid classes actually, probably something like 2.11 class and 2.14 class.

Personally to me, realistic hybrids are basically just cars with the specs of what the actual car can go to the max limit with. Like...a Kouki RX-7 FD's stock turbine when boosted up can get about 400ps, swapping common engine swaps (20v 4A-GELU into a AE86, 20B into RX7), etc. or using actual company parts (like TRD Close-Ratio Gear Box on AE86, Nismo Crossed Mission for S-Series Cars, etc). There's possibly more that I could say but I can't really explain well and can't think at the moment so I'll probably re-edit this & re-word it.

Chassis swaps are a no-go? Also, you should probably raise the power limit. 370hp is a little short.

No no, chassis swaps are good and don't worry, no power limit restrictions. Don't worry :P I only use those numbers because I thought those inductions would produce that much but there is the Muscles that produce so much for super chargers so yeah...

Alright, just a thought here. These are the classifications I was gonna use for my endurance series:

Turismo
1350kg+, less than 2000hp
ProStreet
1000kg+, less than 1000hp
GTx
350kg+, less than 500hp

And also, we should allow the tuners to pick the track we run their car on.

I'm actually gonna keep it at Tsukuba because this is based on the Tsukuba Hot Lap Event.
