Well there's only 1 JGTC livery Diablo (I think it says NOMAD on it) and only 1 BMW McLaren F1 GTR (It should be the longtail verison).
So the NOMAD diablo '00. Weren't the other two Diablo GTs in the game meant for JGTC? (also, the 1997 F1 longtail)

Yes, but we'll be using the standard version. (The only premium car allowed is the 97' CASTROL TOM's Supra)

That McLaren will absolutely need it's own specs. In fact I don't even think it will fit in well with the GT cars. It's incredibly fast and the downforce/handling is just far to good. I would really suggest keeping that car out of the Lineup. Do some testing with the McLaren while running with other GT cars and you will see how superior it is. I think it would be impossible to balance, especially with the lack of downforce effecting PP calculations.

One of the things that really kills a series for me (and others as well) is having unbalanced cars to the point where one is seconds faster even with a lesser skilled driver behind the wheel. I have seen it quite a bit and the frustration of the drivers in the lesser vehicles turns into lack of motivation to even participate and then people stop showing up for races and then we only have a half a grid, which leads to the remaining drivers not even feeling like it's worth it anymore.

i'm interested and probably going to use a nissan but what are the restrictions on tuning, upgrades and tyres?

oh... not all cars hit 500 bhp with no upgrades
If your car gets like 490ish, it's completely normal. That means your car will have LOADS of torque. This mainly refers to the Supras and GT-Rs. Due to their turbo engines, they can easily leave the N/A cars behind. Like my NSX was left for dead against Kaza's Supra at Fuji, even in the slipstream.

If anyone can spec a car to make it equal with others, it's @KazaMR2. He's a Wangan manager at another club, Hajime Racers, and has spec-ed almost every single road car in this game to be equal with each other. We only considered having it since it was in real life between 01'-03' I think. But we will take your opinion into account when testing it.

Awesome! I'm pretty sure it was never a part of JGTC. It was a competitor in the 24 hours of Le Mans. It's one of the only (if not the only) car to win the whole thing that wasn't in the LMP/prototype class. Pretty cool!

@TNR_KING_FILO Different cars from what I can tell. There were McLaren's in the GT500 class but the car in the game that we are referring to was not a GT500 car. It was in an entirely different class.

The McLaren F1 GTR Race Car Base Model '95 would probably have more similar handling characteristics. The premium non Longtail version.
oh yeah no doubt, the long tail GTR in game is the one that raced in Le Mans and not in JGTC, however one of my friends @WilliamsRCN92 also held a JGTC Series and also speced the field to where the GTR Long Tail was a viable option. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...es-next-suzuka-250km-9-16-spots-taken.313497/

I be interested but it depends on the time/day.

As Filo suggested you could use the specs from his friends league as a base to save time. As setting the same power/weight won't always mean the cars are balanced.

For a sort of beta timesheet, check page 1. And although that's a great idea, we'll have to get in contact with them and actually, our guy can spec cars in about 45 minutes. Well, whenever he's free, that is.

Well for now, could I take the Takata NSX '03 please?

Just a thought why don't you have a GT300 type class as well.

well here's my car:
Arta NSX '00

Hey lxmmy. I'm pretty sure they (hosts) only want one driver per car when it comes to the NSX's for the purpose of a diverse field. And unfortunately, I have already chosen the Takata Dome NSX.

This is Raging_Demon, n tbh we might make it 2 ppl to a car, since irl, most team have 2 cars, we haven't decided completely yet, so I'll get back on it at a later time today

The 03' NSX is currently taken, so you'll have to ask that driver for it.
We want to go with GT500 for the first season, and then we'll think about adding GT300 and other formats of motor racing later.
