This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

The Most Ludicrous Video Game Tie-In Car is For Sale: Carmageddon’s “EVILC10” Truck

If you’ve ever wanted to own the most outrageous video game tie-in car possible then this one’s for you: a rat-rod Chevrolet C10 built as a promotional vehicle for the 2016 launch of Carmageddon: Max Damage has popped up for sale in the UK via Bonhams Cars Online...
Makes me want to drive this around London's Parliament lol

Huh, neat. I actually saw it at RTX 2016 and had the same reaction to it then. Fun to look at, can't imagine the drive, might be a cool showpiece though. If it wasn't for the fact I can't go get it in Bonhams' time frame I'd put in a bid.

Huge fan of the early games. The physics engine was strikingly complete for the time. Great fun to mod as well.
Obviously here in the UK the second game had zombies instead of people (and animals).

This custom is a thing of beauty though, in that it is deliberately, menacingly ugly. The zoomie exhausts look unusual, reminds me of TVR's approach. Don't fit silencers, just put a well-placed pipe expansion to handle the volume and soften the crackle :D

So... entirely coincidentally (because they didn't build the car, only found it and had it gamified), the founder of Stainless Games is part of the consortium that bought TVR from Smolensky.

So is one of Stainless Games' investors, who I think helped them calve off from VIS: Les Edgar.

I didn't really have room for that in the article, so just put "certified car guy"
