I think it's only different because it's taken from different angles. That doesn't look like a real picture either, probably photo shop or something.

I don't think it looks half bad. It's got a porsche mustang look too it. WTF is up with the chinese character on the grill though?

that silver one was designed and rendered in maya by a guy and used in a sweet animation...

Dang, those rock.
To me, they look like the good redition and evolution of the Gt-r. Sweet.
Nice pics and are my new wallpaper.

Too bad the G35 has 27 less HP 14 less ft lbs of TQ
has a greater drag coefficient
and weights 119lbs more, in it's 2 door form, than the 350z
not to mention that it has no manual transmission but a 5 speed automatic
and it has no vicious LSD like the 350z has....poor G35...The skyline's rep in my book is dropping with the quickness

yeah but it's a luxury version.....more comfort and features = more weight.....

as for the skylines rep....how is it falling?.....you have to remember that this isnt the GTR......

What is the 350zs drag coefficient? My dad has a G35 and got the extra sport package thing that included making the underbody flat to bring drag down to .26. Also, the G35 sedan does come in a 6sp manual, they were just waiting to release it after then G35 coupe. And like GTR_guy said, this isnt the GTR version of the skyline, this is a usable everyday model.

Yeah, they did. I read the same article and likened the G35 coupe to the 350z in many sentences. ;)
The suspension of the F-Platform is pretty much aerodynamic from the factory on the underside of the car. The A-arms are aluminum alloy and shaped to cheat the wind along with the exhaust system, an underbody spoiler just ahead of the gas tank to make it more streamline too. This will be one of the first example of under car aerodynamics we will see. I'm sure everyone else will follow suit.
If I didnt like the body on the 350z so much, I'd get the G35 for sure.
I'm starting to see so many of the 350Z's, they will be common place and the g35 Coupe will hold some of that mystique of anonymity among the uneducated. ;)

Remember though..It wasn't just the GTR version of the Skyline that got such great play...I myself would much rather have a GTST than a GTR version of the car...It's alot of the personal preference related issue's....So even if it's not badged a "GTR" it still affects the Skylines rep..to me anywho

---

I retract the statement about the Drag coefficient the .26 does beat out the 350Z's .28...but anyway the fact still stands..it is a luxury car yes....It has less power yess..It lacks a Limited slip differential yes....And it's a shame that the only version to come 6 speed is the Sedan, it's coo and all to have a fast 4 door....But it'll never be as cool as a faster 2 door..ya know?

Strictly RWD...Easy to put install RB26DETT..Light weight, and a sleeper..since it lacks all the stylings of a GT-R which can be easily distinguished by people who know their skyline stuff...And in the end adding a RWD RB26DETT to a GTST would more than likely Be cheaper than having someone make your GTR RWD, because I know I couldn't do that on my own, and getting new front and rear fascia's of a GTST to remove any traits it's GTR heritage.....you know...Sleeperage from a GTST is nice to the Nth power

I think there is a way to make the GTR strictly RWD.....I'll check the skyline owners manual and get back to you on that one...I wonder if you can just pull the fuse since it's all controlled automatically...

most people have no Idea what a skyline is....

I guess I like the R34 because of It's styling...I don't really care for the sleeper look....I mean being a sleeper gives you no real advantage other than the WOW I thought it was gonna be slow thing.....

yeah there is a way to make a GTR RWD, of course there is...A GTR is a AWD Car built off of a RWD car..all you have to do is disconnect the frontal part of the drivetrain (Which I forgot the correct terminology for it)...It's just more of a job than it seems....and that applies to the R34 aswell..I mean...You can have the GTT and drop a RB26DETT into it and if you REALLY know you're skylines you'll think it's a GTT as apposed to a GTR, from the front fascia and what not...but anywho...I'm just rambling now

well technically since Atessa ETS is the thing that transfers the power to the front wheels you could just pull the fuse then you would be just RWD...If you just drop the propshaft then atessa will still be trying to transfer power to the front but it wont get anywhere so your just wasting it....I looked through the whole skyline owners manual and it didn't say anyihing about making the GTR only rwd but as I said removing the fuse on the Atessa system should work.....

"the trading card game will have players battling to master the lightning-fast action of street racing and tuning their vehicles with the latest in racing technology."
