I like it. I wonder if that'll become an aftermarket mod
And another just because it popped up on my facebook feed.

What if they take out the badge and do something similar to this?Damn, it looks evil. Badge is too big and needs to be removed though.

Someone with magnificent photoshop skills should attempt a remake of this! I feel like it could either be good looking, or just flat out HUEGH.I'd love that! It's too bad they did away with that on the NA8s in 1994.
Mazda
- Aero Kit (Front Air Dam, Side Sill Extensions, Rear Bumper Skirt and Rear Lip Spoiler): The gloss-black Aero Kit is the same package found on the 2016 MX-5 Global Cup Car that debuted at SEMA in November.
- Brembo Brakes: Lightweight Brembo front brakes adorn the MX-5 as well as red brake calipers behind all four wheels.
- BBS Wheels: The forged black BBS wheels are sized 17x7J 45mm offset, wrapped in 205/45R17 tires.
- Luggage Rack: The stylish luggage rack is made of carbon fiber and weighs less than two pounds. The luggage rack mounts to the trunk and includes an integrated Center High Mount Stop Lamp (CHMSL).
Those wheels look pretty sick.
Gahhh, I hate those old luggage racks! At least the newage version if carbon fiber.

So no factory hardtop?![]()
Don't forget that you live in Southern California where having a hardtop Miata is totally pointless. No wonder you've only seen two. They're relatively common and extremely sought after here in Ohio where there's actually a use for it.The power retractable hardtop was popular, the OEM removeable hardtop was very expensive. I've only ever seen 2 of them.
Oh yeah.Don't forget that you live in Southern California where having a hardtop Miata is totally pointless. No wonder you've only seen two. They're relatively common and extremely sought after here in Ohio where there's actually a use for it.
And indeed the UK. I bought one with my new car. They're quite expensive (though some of that is for the heated rear window and associated gubbins) but following what happened to my last car it's worth it for a little extra security. And the extra weatherproofing, of course.Don't forget that you live in Southern California where having a hardtop Miata is totally pointless. No wonder you've only seen two. That seems roughly what one in good condition costs in the UK too. I've seen them as cheap as £300 or so (~$460) but they're usually a bit tatty.A hard top for NA-NB in good condition, depending on color, can usually fetch around $1k USD.
"SUNFLOWR YELLOW"
I could imagine people getting Sunflower Yellow ND's and putting on a wooden Nardi Torino Steering wheel.I'd probably wait for a special edition car, but I like that yellow. I'll bet that will be the color to have in 15 years. Sunburst Yellow NAs are super rare.
