GT-R has the ummffff. Juke rhymes with you know what. No engine swap will fix that. :yuck:

I quite like it actually. I applaud Nissan for doing something "different". Everyone complains about how when a new car comes out it looks like this car, or looks like that car. Finally someone does something interesting...

Yeah, I've seen loads of them on the road in the UK now (think they've sold a few hundred thousand) and I still like the way they look. Seems like a good all-rounder too - decent economy, decent performance, enough space for four, sensible ride height and optional AWD for grim weather. Nice interior too.

Of course, in the UK we also get the diesel option in addition to the 1.6, 1.6 turbo and 1.6 turbo AWD.

How well does that diesel variant perform? If they made that available here in the US with the AWD/CVT powertrain, I'd imagine it would be fairly popular. Not that our 1.6T version isn't fuel-friendly, but apparently you have to leave it in "Eco Mode" or drive like an old lady to get anywhere near the EPA-rated levels.

I think Beat Assailant sounds quite a bit like a younger Jay-Z, that's about all I got out of that ad.

The poor little guy doesn't have a face... Without any real headlights that stand out, the front end looks like the butt end just as much as the rear.

If it had a front that didn't look like it belongs on the back of a car... Well, I can't say I'd like it either. The front distracts a lot from the rest of the body and interior which seems like a pretty meh mix of good and bad.

Thats a good point you make. If only theyd just remove those silly indicator lights from the roof and enlarge the circular ones.

Facelifted Juke will debut at Geneva

My concern is thus:

The Juke, as is, could be considered ugly. But, it's that ugly that makes it such a charming vehicle (well, besides the good mechanical bits).

Adding the new corporate face to it, well, I think it's going to throw a lot of stuff out the window. Unless they're making the Juke more Jukey, with which, I don't know if any of us are prepared for it.

From the spy pic it doesn't look like they changed too much. Restyled the headlights a little, gave it more family grill and restyled the front/rear bumper.

Yeah making it look more corporate like the qashqai would utterly ruin its charm.

The Quamalamadingdong and the Rogue look better than their predecessors, but I don't dig the new V-shape grille. With the pictures that @RocZX threw up there, it looks like they're going with the same face. Yes, it looks okay, but it isn't Jukey.

We'll see. I still think it's one of the best cars on the road, arguably the best Nissan there is right now. I don't think they'd go about ruining it that quick.

Well the second teaser image has emerged:

Based on that, I can't see them changing it much. It looks like a facelift rather than any sheet metal, really.

I think the new Qashqai is fantastic looking.

Yeah it looks pretty good and much better than the previous one but it's face should not be on this.... because Juke :dopey: Luckily it doesn't look like it's going to be all that different.

I have a soft spot for the Murano, looks like someone took a Nissan 'Z' style car body and jacked it up.

Yes please!

*Shudder*

The Murano CrossCabriolet is one of very few vehicles in which I can find no redeeming features.

The shame is that Nissan sort of ruined the Murano anyway. I really liked the first-gen car:

...and then they started overdoing things. I'd be temped by one myself if they didn't do about 20 mpg (with associated horrific tax bands) with that 350Z engine in there...
