its summertime, with me being married with 2 young children its hard to play games because we take the kids to parks and stuff when its nice out, plus work always interfears with my gameplay time lol.

but you can bet your ass when i have time to play i play hard đź‘Ť

ok good One more question last night i beat all of tokyo. I boughtan r34 and i went to Nagoya SP? And i tried the milliage trick. Im the morning i put the disc back in to resume the game. But my milliage wasnt changed it was only like 12 miles? Anyone have a reason why this happened.

Hey well i have a question why sint the milliage trick working for me. And i bought Speed king or Jentie's car and it wont do the cool blue effects when im racing but i was never in front of the other car. Do you have to be in front. I just bought it to see if it would do the cool things i never put a fast engine in it.

Nope. Only the AI gets the cool special effects.

The first one was released on the Dreamcast and then Tokyo Extreme Racer was released in the UK on PS2 back in 2001.

Number 2 and 3 never made it over here though.

Did it get an American release, as I thought it was Japanese only!

I've got an American copy of TXR3, I didn't much like the one on the Dreamcast dunno it seemed kinda lame. I remember playing the demo and not being particularly impressed.

Actually I restarted my TXR3 recently, i've got an S14 and an R32.

Yeah, my ps2 is chipped. I have a Messiah 2 chip, which lets you play everything. Unfortunately some stupid ****er decided to make it illegal in the UK, so all the companys who do it have stopped selling them. Also it's hard to do it yourself, seeing as it's 40 something wires, which I don't think i'd be confident enough to do myself. I'm sure you could find some dodgy bloke to do it, but then i'd only get it done if you know them so if it brakes you can go back and moan at them when it's broke. I got mine chipped at www.whitedog.co.uk which you can also order a fliptop or slide card which might let you play imports as well, but you need to swap the disc or something, i've never seen it so I don't know.

At the moment, i've got my TXR running of my PS2's HDD the loading times are practically none.

been so bored waiting for GT4. decided to pick up tx3. since this thread is so damn huge and all the pics arent really working lets see some new ones :)

i suck at making decals/graphics for the car so i didnt really do anything. i got the basic part of the game done cept for wanderers. anyways, heres my FD (my only car). i had a 86 levin with a i-6 turbo and v8 turbo but i sold it since i got bored of the car.

oh, and one question. i read something about people starting the game over with their previous garage. how do u do this exactly?

I looked at the flip top mods, hmmm, maybe. But it sucks about them being illegal now, I just read that Sony took a man to court for selling 1500 Messiah chips and the court made them illegal.

:grumpy: Bah!

They've been illegal for awhile.

But for people that want to play GT4 when it comes to America and they are in america. They buy a chip and get GT4P copy. I'm like that's a waste of money because they have no phreaking patience that's plain dumb and childish to me.

I just wanted a chip to play all the good games you get out there that we don't. I'm suprised America got screwed over with GTC and GT4:P because it's usually Europe that don't get anything video game wise.

Modchips are only illigal in England and I don't see why buying GT4:P is childish. Tell all the people who bought it in Europe, Australia and Asia that.

On another note, god damn the parts in TXR3 are bloody expensive.

Most PS2 modchips are complicated installs, something like 30+ wires. I mean I chipped the old PSOne, but that was only a few wires, it's allot more complicated unless you're used to soldering allot of stuff.
