At least it is in my oppinion...I love going fast as hell into a corner and pulling off some insane 4 wheel drifts. Some people say they don't look pretty but they look fine to me.

well on four wheel drift, its good if u know how to make it look good, its about skills, cause al cars can drift, you have to force it or do the Initial Drifting style without using break

4 wheel drifting DOESN'T look as good as crazy exhibition drifting, but its still a valid form of drifting and its certainly faster. if u loose a little control then it turns into a nice drift with ur back sliding out, so its all good :D

ive grown love AWD drifting. seems a little easier. in the thead 360 drift i kinda got the hardcore drifting skills down, but i still yet to learn a new skill "1080" drift. ive seen it done in GT3, but it was a hybrid so i dont know how to make hybrids so i might not be able to reach my next goal

thats just random, anyone tried a reverse drift? hehe is it even possible? like driving in reverse, and drifting around a track...

i havent even tried so i dunno

paul

WOW, i would like to see someone do that

Four wheel drifting is fun if yu can control the car under the conditions. My favorite corner is the half circle turn on Tokyo 246. the one that appears in the upper left hand corner of the course.

i dunno about drifting in reverse but i can go 147kph in my ZZII in reverse (proof below, try it great fun)
its mainly the gearing that does it!

auto gear: level 45 (highest)

final: 2.500
then dont tamper with the other gears but this is what you should have:

1st: 2.962
2nd: 1.863
3rd: 1.276
4th: 0.935
5th: 0.723
6th: 0.590

and for those of you who have changed your suspension to your needs this is what i have mine on:

FRONT REAR
SR: 55 55
RH: 15.8 13.8
DB: 7 7
DR: 7 7
CA: 2.0 1.0
TA: 0.0 0.0
ST: 4 4

others

DF: 0.74 0.91

VCD: 25%

:D HAVE FUN:D  ;) :mischievous:

If you are meaning AWD drifts when you say '4 wheel drifts', then yes - you are right.

They are even more fun in real life. :)

Nooooooooooo, I'm talking about a 4 wheel drift, all 4 tires just beyond their limits of traction. The back end doesn't step out as much as exhibition drifting.

w/o steering correct? that's AWD drifting a.k.a 4 wheel drift

there's other names for it

AWD drifting is fun, but it just seems a little TOO easy than FR. with FR you can bring the real drifting. they both look good AWD and FR i just wich i could get my hybrids to work and see if i can make like a lancer an FR

AWD isn't 4 wheel drifting because AWD drifting, is drifting AWD cars. Cars with all wheel drive drivetrains....it's just a bit different. Oh and how the hell do you even make hybrids?

in initial D they do use brakes or do you mean not break entry:confused:

i haven't a clue what 'break entry' is but if u mean braking on entry then yes of course they do. no hand brake, just foot brake, turn the wheel, apply the gas... :D

that's the pimp way to drift anyway. i like watching Takahashi Ryousuke drift his FC. it's cool watching the way he just snaps that car into a drift. FC's look good....but they look even better sideways :D
