Having that pipe above my computer all the time would drive me insane after a while If that was me, something would have to go wrong.


Because I'm far too lazy for video, here's a photo of mine. There are two built-in shelves above but there's nothing interesting up there except a poster of a monkey in deep thought.

I moved into a new apartment a few weeks ago but just now got a desk. Built partially by me but mostly by my father in the garage with some Ikea lights because why not

edit: the site I hosted this image at just shut down. I could still see the pic anyway but in case it goes invisible in the future, here's the same pic from another host.

With working from home, it was time to clean up the desk in the office and, more importantly, have decent audio. A bit of device shuffling was in order to repurpose the 24 year old speakers and Craigslist receiver.

Next is seeing if I can find an inexpensive way to mount a 24" TV (the feet are missing) to replace the 22". I'd love to use both but 1) there's no room and 2) I don't have the right combination of cables to do it, anyway.
