The Powerhouse Racing Team - Switching over to GT6

Ok I will plan a 3 round event to get us started. Once I know which RM you wish to use I will get the details sorted and posted here and to our website/thread. I will base it on 6 drivers per team so please round up your members for a definitive list.

6 drivers? wow that's a lot for us, because of the different time zones, not every member of our team is active, and not everyone is capable to show up at a fixed time, for example for americans is it diffucult to race at the normal "PRT race time" (around 7pm gmt+1)
we have to look who can play, otherwise we have to compete with less members...

Ok no problem. Races would be around 20:30 UK time. If you can get 4 or 5 that would be great.

even though the zr1 is currently the most popular I think we should go for a slightly less powered car

i think that's the most difficult question here in GT5 and propably also in GT6, "what car should i choose?..."
i think you know what i mean...
sure, the ISF RM is a sleeper, no one uses it, it is fast as **** in acceleration and cornering when fully tuned, but my personal opinion is, i don't like it, it has too much gears for me. the first 2 gears are completely useless, and the sound is horrible too... (or did they change it after the last update?...)
not every GT5 car sound is horrible, the ZR1 RM or the Wedssport ISF for example, but i couldn't race with the ISF RM for 2 hours, it gets quickly boring for me with it.

But if this car is chosen to race in ORDL's team championship, i have no problem with that, and i will do my best then and fight for the win!
FOR OUR TEAM!!! ^_^

edit: today i'm going to update the OP and there'll be some little changes, you won't notice much ^^

Any idea on when the event will start?

Dates will be released later tonight with some room for movement if required. I think the Lexus will be limited to around 600 - 650 PP.

little question: can i tune the gearbox so that it only has "7" gears?
i would like to make the first gear very long etc...

edit: nevermind, i'll try it today ^_^

2nd edit: will there be any tuning restrictions or something, or will it just be at for example 625PP, and we could do and tune whatever we like?

I'd imagine that you are allowed to do anything you want with the 8 gears (ridiculous amount if you ask me) the car has. To be honest I'd tune the car so it would only use 6 ...

EDIT: Before I forget to ask, what tyres are we going to be using for the Lexus? I need to know so I can do some testing beforehand.

Will be Racing Medium mate. Very under estimated car in GT5. If this event goes well and your guys enjoy it I would be more than happy to plan future events using various cars. All event details will be revealed later tonight, as per all our events it will be done via an event template with all the info you guys will need.

I'll be happy to race in team colours. I'll reserve the number 77.

As for setting up my Lexus, I'm having a hard time with that. Before I started tuning it had horrible understeer in almost all of the corners. After tweaking suspension rates to my liking it only felt a little bit better but the problem still wasn't resolved. The only option I had was to increase the front downforce which made it much better in corners but the car is now unstable when going over kerbs or banked corners. What do I do ?!

Some details may change to assist in Powerhouse Racing Team attending. This event will use 5 drivers from each team.

I have selected the following drivers to compete in this event:

4. 9 NUFC_1989_
5. 18 Evoloution
   
   Reserve Driver
6. 58 El_Rossy_46

Our official team colour for all ORDL Racing Events will be Lexus Red. It seems fitting to match our logo and due to the Lexus being our first ever ORDL event. This may change once GT6 is released with styling options. Please remember to display your RM number.

All details, regulations etc can be found HERE

If any of your guys have any questions then please post or PM me, issues with dates etc can be resolved. Once confirmed and all is well I will confirm with our guys and post dates to our calendar. Feel free to drop by our thread/website to say hi to our drivers.

Looks really good, only have a few things to say which is the time, in my country it's an hour earlier and at the time i'm usually going for dinner so if possible could you move the start of it about 20, maybe 30 minutes later? And on 2nd September I don't think I will be able to make it because of a birthday party, would it possible to change the date of it?
