Short notice, but who here could make it to a lobby in 30 minutes? Open Patrol at Surfer's Paradise without suburbs. Probably do either B class or A class.
If more time is required, I can stretch it to start at 4:30PM EST instead of 4:00PM EST.

LOBBY IS NOW OPEN

A-CLASS - SURFERS PARADISE - OPEN PATROL - 50MPH (80KPH) SPEED LIMIT

REMEMBER GUYS - MAPS & NAMES OFF PLEASE.

👍

OK, bearing in mind that I am not an official member of this club, I am requesting permission to join this room. My XBOX Gamertag is CivicTypeR15.

Will be late but I'll join.

Sorry for leaving on such short notice, I had to go do something immediately. The time I was there though, everything seemed to go smoothly. How was the car show?

Thanks for hosting @jwesson1.

Car show didn't really happen we just kept changing cars the did some ridiculous races to get the falcon from the forzathon.

No worries @Ameer67 👍

I read on here that a few people were asking about if a lobby was happening so i decided to have a go at hosting one after you said it was ok for other club members to host them in your absence.

I did try to make sure everyone had a go at being the Racer & being a Cop.
And that the fines where being shown in the party chat.
Also tried to made sure everyone stayed in the correct car class.

Hope everyone was ok with me hosting?

Only issue we did have was that at one point we all got disconnected from the lobby for some unknown reason, this only happened the once but everyone soon rejoined and it was all good & problem free after that.

Yeah the car show was just a chill out time really before people left to do their own thing.

Once i'd shut the lobby down and everyone had either gone offline or was doing whatever else, i decided to carry on working on my new A-Class Racer Car which is a : 2013 Toyota GT86

Cool with me. As long as the lobby didn't burn down while I wasn't there, then you did a good job.

So I'm gonna get this out of the way now; who here can make it to a lobby today? Probably around 4-5 hours from now.

I could probably make it. I just need the car class so I can make some more cars.

Yesterday's lobby was very good. I stayed a lot longer than I was expecting, which says a lot. So I think I'll submit an application for membership. I will say that I won't be a regular in the rooms, seeing as I am only on my XBOX once every three weeks (on average), so it's up to Ameer whether he accepts or declines my application. I'm fine either way.

A new map has been added to the website called "Outback North". The western limit is the town, southern limit is the highway, and the eastern limit is the satellite array. And yes, you can go on the little river path in between those mountains. (Thanks to @Cowboy for reminding me of Coober Pedy.)

I should be able to join but I have 1 question. Is the Crown Vic going to be considered a 90's or 10's car? I know the in game car is a 2010 model but it did start production in that generation in the late 90's (and AFAIK wasn't dramatically changed visually or performance wise through the years)

Good question... what do you guys think?

Jason is right. The 2nd generation Crown Victoria started production in 1998 and still had essentially the same engine, transmission and body styling at the end of production in 2011. However, the Crown Victoria was refreshed in 2003 with revisions to the suspension and engine, as well as yearly updates (notably a new instrument cluster with tachometer in 2006) until the end of production. I'd probably say you could get away with the 2010 Crown Vic for a '90s lobby, seeing as it didn't really change that much from start to end.
