Sorry for the double post but it looks like it'll be at least a few days (possibly over a week) until I'm able to properly start work on my E36 M3 chase video as everything seems to be conspiring against me to get this video done.

I agree with everyone, in that it should be lowered to 75mph. I do however feel that Rhino Units should stick with the 100mph rule, being that they're built to take a beating in a pursuit.

Also I feel like we should address the situation with regards to horns. I've been seeing more and more players using silly horns in lobbies, and it sorta takes away from the seriousness. I get that it's meant for a laugh and all, but blatant spamming of the horn while we're trying to relay pursuit information through the chat, or initiating a traffic stop, is just annoying and rude in a way. If you're a racer, by all means you can use whatever horn you want, but if you're a cop, you MUST have the police horn installed if you have it unlocked (you can find it in the 'Sound Effects' portion of the Horns, under the Arooga 2 horn). @Ameer67 brought a good point up earlier while he was a racer, in that he refused to pull over because the cop behind him had a silly horn instead of the police siren. Just my two cents, and Ameer, if you have anything to add regarding the horns, go ahead.

Sorry for double post, but for those who can make it to a meet next weekend, please have some S1 racer/cop vehicles, as we may be doing S1 Class Open Patrol!
Also, I won't be available on Saturday, as I won't be out of work until 6PM EST.
 
Damn. I'll be in Chicago all day for the auto show. Depends on when I leave I might be late. If it's at 6.

I like it. S1? You're going to have to remove the pattern on the rear bumper though. (I called out Panda on doing that so it would only be fair.)

The latest addition to the GCPD lineup, the Infiniti Q50 Super Pursuit Unit

Built in collaboration with NISMO Australia, this incredible machine is powered by a 3.8 Twin Turbo V6 (based on the engine seen in the GT-R NISMO) producing an insane 770HP. Yet, despite this being a full-sized sedan, a carbon fibre construction means this car weighs less than 3100lbs, making it even lighter than a Ferrari 488 GTB. That, combined with the ATTESA ET-S PRO AWD system, makes a car that no racer in Australia is safe from.

Testing on the Outback Highway showed that this Super Pursuit Unit is capable of speeds over 230MPH:

Hitting a civilian, static object (wall, barrier, etc), at 75 mph (100 mph for an SUV or pickup) or higher or rolling/flipping over is considered a wreck. Small shunts/nudges are OK.

This has been added under the "Catching the crooks" section on the police page:

Police are not allowed to continually follow a racer around unless they are doing something suspiscous.

Also, @jwesson1, you're going to need to edit your cop cars to look more similar to ours. The blue stripe is the biggest problem. The police decal should be the same size as the stripe itself, like Beef's BMW posted above.

Their being listed either due to lack of use or i've made them into Police Cars but never used them.

They'll be listed on the Auction House (Go onto the auction house, press X to search - Gamertag : This Bad Panda)

Cars listed will have the GCPD Livery applied & will come untuned.

I'd say at the very least, pull up to the crossing, and stop. Look both ways for civis and the trams, and cross when safe. Treat it as a railroad crossing.
 
Now I've realised why I probably should have just bought out the majority of auctions for police cars I wanted rather than just placing a bid.

Also working on putting the S14 to good use as a racer.
