Sorry for shameless plug, but i'm planning a historic snow fun event this Wednesday or Friday at 19:30GMT, might be a nice appetizer for @Harsk100's Rally Trophy. Stop by if you like! Hope i can make it next week!
I saw that and the idea is very good for me. Tarnheld, I will need to know what number (#), what team and what car will you drive for this event, as I'll consider you as a reserve/maybe as well.

The fact of you hoping to make it next week that's great in my opinion. Just pick a day and a hour which you are available for doing a rally and then join the lobby/create a lobby so your friends can participate in the rally. 👍

In next week, the rally Event will be starting. So, prepare your rally cars for the Events. For who hasn't shared their rally car for the Rally Event, please do it. I'm planning to make a Spotters Guide, therefore, the pictures will be very important.

Anyways, my post is finished with a video of a rally round to keep you entertained.

Here's another video :)

That's an cool car, Eran.

Before the Lancia Stratos came to the rallies, the Alpine A110 dominated the WRC during 3 years. And even after its end of the production, the Alpine A110 Group 4 is a French Historic Icon.

I wish that we could have that car and especially the Racing Modification, where we can convert it to a rally car.

But in that time of 70's, there wasn't video camera... And neither mobile phone which allows you to record the videos...

I assisted Dakar 2007 near my house and in next year, I was planning to do it again, but after I was informed that Dakar 2008 was cancelled, then I was really sad.

Anyways, the Time Trial Event Informations may be up in tommorrow or Wednesday. 👍

Remember, the Rounds 1-3 are a Normal Races, therefore, there are a non-Points Event.

#28 and i go with the SX4 (stock, right?), but maybe i show up in a stock Stratos in the historic class. :D:tup:

I'm sorry Tarnheld, but the #28 is taken by @IfAndOr .

What about taking the #64 number?

The SX4 WRC's BoP power must be followed. As soon the BoP is ended, the car selection specs will be posted right away. 👍

For the Stratos, do you mean '73 one? Or the Rally Car '77?

Tagging some people, just in case if they are interested.

Just so I know, exactly what day and time is the event?
The event starts at December 14th at 00:00 GMT (Depending of your country) and it ends at December 20th at 00:00 GMT (Depending of your country). Pick one day and one hour which you are available and then join my rally lobby or create a lobby so you and your friends can participate in the Time Trial Events.

After you do the Time Trial Events, do not forget to save replay and please send me the lap times of the required laps. See post #2 for the Regulations. If you have any doubts, please let me know. 👍

Regarding about the calendar, the Autumn Ring Reverse would be set in Romania, the Chamonix would be set in Austria and the Toscana Reverse would be set in Kenya, as there are only 1 gravel track and we cannot make the tracks in Gravel Surfaces unfortunately.

@Harsk100, just i get the timeline of the Rally Trophy correctly:
  • There is a Time Trial that runs through next week, is it an online time trial in a club or offline, so we should send you our replay?
  • The race event takes place some time next week, according to the votes it's most likely Saturday. Is it in a club lobby or do you open up a public race room?
  • I'll try to bring the SX4 tuned to the BoP and the stock Stratos to the race event and decide what car i'll enter, is this ok? And is it ok to do the TT with the Stratos?

The Time Trial for the rally will be a Online Lobby. It can be done in a Normal or a Club Lobby. And also, you can invite some Zero Cup guys to participate in the Time Trial Rally Events in next Monday, maybe before the Zero Cup Events. I'll be ammending the Lobby Settings.

Well, I spoke with @Zolon32 about the idea of doing the Little Christmas Cup Races in next tuesday (December 15th) in Racers Reunited Club Lobby and he agreed. This was spoken yesterday before we did the @Dustybin Tribute Races.

Yes, it is okay to do the TT with the Lancia Stratos. But note that you can drive only 1 car per event. You can drive the Stratos on the Asphalt Event, while you can drive the SX4 WRC in Gravel and Snow Events.

The Asphalt and Snow BoP is finished for the WRC2.0T cars, but I'm still figuring out the Gravel BoP for the WRC2.0T cars.

Can't race Tuesday, if we start races on weekdays, I can only participate December 19- January 1st. Christmas break starts and ends then. From what I saw, if we race on Tuesday at 20:00 UK time, that leaves me at 12:00pm (noon).

Sorry if I'm being a challenge for scheduling, I can miss the races, it's the time trials I don't want to miss, after all, Rally is basically a time trial (Unless of course we're talking about Rallycross).:)

It's okay RoadRunner. Basically, the rally championship is to be done in Time Trial and not in Normal Races.

These normal races are a non-points events.

You can participate in Time Trials in next Saturday. 👍
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways guys, here's a step by step of how the Time Trials will work:
1- Open a club/normal Lobby or then join a existant club/normal lobby on that track, but please note that club must follow the Article 7 of Sporting Regulations.

2- Choose a car that you wish to participate in a TT event and practice during 5 minutes.

3- Once you have done your practice, start the TT race.

4- During the TT race, you must complete the required laps. The ammount of the minutes depends of a car being slower or faster.

5- After your TT Race is finished, Save your replay!

6- Go to "Gallery" and click the TT Race Replay.

7- Take a picture of your car on TT Race Track. After you take the picture, export that picture to XMB File and transfer it in USB.

8- Click "Real Time" to see all the lap times. Do not skip the laps, as you need to note all lap times from the required laps. It can be done in a paper or then you can note them down in a computer.

9- Once you have finished noting, send me a PM containing the following form:
"Time Trial Autumn Ring", "Time Trial Toscana Reverse" or "Time Trial Chamonix East".

Note that these in "BOLD" are titles.

From article 2.3:
"2.3.4- All the drivers must send all lap times after they have finished the Time Trial Events on the following form.

For example, in Toscana:
Name of the Driver: Harsk
Car: Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak '98
Times: Lap 1- 1'00.000
Lap 2- 1'00.000
Lap 3- 1'00.000
Lap 4- 1'00.000
Lap 5- 1'00.000

2.3.5- After that, the Event Organizer will calculate the lap times to the Total Time of a Time Trial Event. For example, if I would do 5 laps of 1 minute, then the total time would be 5 minutes.

2.3.6- The Time Trial Event will last 1 week. This will give time to the players to set their fastest lap times."

10- In Time Trial Events, the race will start on the final corner, Race Alone, like in Qualifying. Pit Stop is forbidden!

It would be cool if we could re-gather and do another championship when Dirt Rally comes to consoles for spring break, or even GTSport if rally is implemented (PD better, after all, in the trailer there was early WRC footage).💡

Wouldn't it be much simpler Hask if you were to create your own GT6 community club and then make the 3 time trial events in there? They could be set up exactly how you want them so everyone would be running to the same rules/specs.

Everybody could then enter them at their leasure and when they finish the fastest lap is automatically saved for you to check out. (Not sure if it records every lap time of a session)

There wouldn't be any need for saving replays, USB sticks and PM's to you etcetera. It would all be above board then. At the moment it could be open to error if people use different settings.

I honestly don't think that all lap times are recorded. Actually, in real rally, there is a Super Special which is similiar to the Race of Champions which you have to do 2 laps on the course. The two lap times are added.

But in the case, only the best lap time is added. So, that's why the 8th article from post #46 is very important.

But it might be a good idea, so I might try that method. 👍

Well, we could do that, but the whole 2016 GRC season is set to be in Gran Turismo 6.

The next season will be in GTSPORTS.

Anyways, for who doesn't know, here's the 2016 GRC calendar, which will be most likely, the definitive 2016 GRC calendar.

I honestly don't think that all lap times
If you want more than one lap time you could keep the duration of the event short (time enough for one lap) and then get drivers to enter the event more than once. Then add them up at the end.

It would keep drivers on their toes knowing that it's just that one lap that counts.

Just a thought. ;)

Well, that could be a good idea too. 👍

But if some of drivers wouldn't compete 50% or less of the required laps, they would be classified as "DNF" and half points from the position would be attributed.

However, if they would complete 51% or higher of the required laps, then, they would have 15-minute compensation of calculator and they would be classified in its respective position with its adding 15 minutes, meaning, they will recieve points.

Well, I think that 13 and 15 Laps was too much. Therefore, each driver will have 5 tries for setting a lap time. And then, these 5 lap times will be added to a Total Lap time.

I'm trying to keep the rally realistic as possible, but not to be too complicated like my WRC was 1 year ago.

Anyways, Driver Attending list confirming will be coming tonight.

Sorry for double post, but we need to confirm the driver attendance list, as the rally event starts tommorrow.

Do not forget the following schedule:
1st Round: Chamonix East, 10 Laps
2nd Round: Toscana Reverse, 5 Laps
3rd Round: Autumn Ring Forward, 13 Laps

Note that these Events are the Time Trial Events and the duration of these Events will be depending of the speed of the participant.

Please beware that the hour of the opening lobby depends of your local timezone. You may create your lobby, but it must follow the "Article 7- Lobby Settings".

Are the times same as the polls above?
Well, the times depend of your timezone, but the times of the lobby opening are random.

For example, I may open a lobby in 13:00 GMT from my country. But I also may be opening a lobby at 17:00 GMT in my country.
