Poverty
post 26 and 27 I have completly missed the point somewhere as I dont understand.

You're saying give people something they didn't earn. Why should they be given "cheap" computers? Why shouldn't they have to earn the computers that everyone else does? That's all part of the mentality of "I deserve 'insert item here' because I'm a citizen of the USA(or any other country)"

lol I dont think 50 cent will be giving anything away for free anytime soon. Hes just planning on selling pc's that undercut rivals.

That should be interesting. But my other points still stand. Why isn't he helping to get people out of the life that he was in?

what has that got to do with anything. I didnt hear people say negative comments when mercedes, audi, or those car customizers did it to a M3, everyone thought it was cool, and then 50 cent does it and hes a dick?

Poverty
how can he?

By giving some of the children a reason to succeed in school that the can relate to. A reward of a scholarship or even a computer(earned not just given) would help to solidify the need for education over illegal activities for success in this life.

If "gangsta" rappers just horde the money they make from rapping about how bad the streets are, they are a big part of the problem.

Not trying to be bias but
The Game has partnered with 310 Motoring to create his own shoe called The Huricanes. The rapper delayed the release of the shoe. A portion of the proceeds of the shoe are donated to the victims of Katrina.
and
In its first week of release, his debut "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" sold 872,000 copies[1]. After the release of Beg For Mercy from his group G-Unit, he teamed up with Reebok to release his own G-Unit Sneakers. He also invested in VitaminWater bottled water and his own clothing line. 50 Cent appeared on an episode of The Simpsons entitled, "Pranksta Rap" in February 2005.

A video game starring 50 Cent, called "50 Cent: Bulletproof," is available on the PlayStation 2, the Xbox, and the PlayStation Portable.

50 Cent starred in the semi-autobiographical 2005 film Get Rich or Die Tryin' directed by Jim Sheridan, and co-starring Joy Bryant and Terrence Howard.

50 Cent released a memoir about his life up to his success entitled From Pieces to Weight: Once Upon a Time in Southside Queens; the book was released on August 9, 2005. There are other books planned for release in 2007.
I don't know why we are picking on both of them.
