Sunday at 20:00 ( SA Time) is ok with me... Just watch out for a drunk driver on track as I will, could, most probably be in various stages of drunkenness, depending if the Boks win or lose... LOL

GO BOKKE!!

So the bokke won keep a safe distance from my team mate

Any chance I can get in on this tonight? Carbon races with me quite a lot in Toca and some others.👍

Preferred car: Raybrig NSX but open to others.:)

Morning all.... The racing sounded a little tense last night, lots of swearing and calling names, it's getting a little out of hand I think. There seems to be some serious issues between a few of the drivers, which should be sorted out privately! I must admit, I find the constant talking nonsense and just general rambling a bit annoying during the race. Chatting, complaining and rambling should be for practice and qualifying, but not the race. Anyways I had a great race and I'm looking forward to Deep Speed!

NO MICS IN THE F$#%^$%&$&^$#&^ RACE.

I nearly pulled out, couldn't concentrate, all the bitching going on. No one purposely tries to take someone out, I heard a couple of moans about me, WTF, its not my style.

Well done canu...nice break up front, you deserved the win dude.

I know... I race with u all the time and you're fast and clean and it's always fun. I think everyone would agree. But it seems Wilfred finds your driving a bit rough. Lol and lol again! Maybe if we talk less we might drive faster! Lol :)

morning gt fans,

i enjoyed the race, and hope i was not the one complaining or talking to much during the race... must say cant remember if i did.

Canu well done bro, u sure made the most out of leading on the "formation lap"

so now the nsx's are leading the pack 1/2, just the way we wanted it.

ps, keep the overtaking clean, dont push your nose on the inside and then make contact with that driver, if you gonna do that expect the same in the next corner, so that is why i ask that we respect one another and try our best to avoid contact in corners. it will make the race so much more fun. the above is just my opinion. (humble)

another suggestion would be to mute everyone except the ppl you want to communicate with.

Hey Bronzo..... ja I caught Ally napping. Haha ha And no it definitely wasn't u using the mic all the time. It's the same person everytime with verbal diorea, who's always complaining that everyone is bumping him, but in fact he's the one who's driving bad and bumping everyone else. The mics should b used to enhance the fun, not to create a negative vibe and complain all the time! Enough now. Let's fly the flag Bronzo.... Honda rules!

Hey Bronzo..... ja I caught Ally napping.

Hey Canu, yes you did, very clever. At the last lezmo you braked really hard and I had to slow down so that I didn't overshoot the corner and by the time I got my composure back, you were gone... That NSX of yours is really fast. Props to your race last night. Really great drive.

Regarding the issues between the drivers, yes there is. Some drivers go up the inside and putting their noses into corners and knocking guys in the side forcing them to spin out or not breaking in corners and using the guy infront of you to slow down, or not keeping their line. It happened in this race to least three drivers...

Hi Ally....I Just braked for the corner like I normally do to get on the right line, if you had to brake that hard to avoid over shooting the corner then maybe you were going to fast. I was on pole and was setting the pace and I caught u napping, no big deal, that's racing. But I definitely didn't make any sudden or unexpected moves to try put you off. Sorry if u feel hard done by. I just feel that if someone has an issue with someone else about bumping then they should contact them privately after the race and watch the replay. If they still have an issue, then take it to the race steward( Homes) so he can make a decision in who's right or wrong. But it's not cool dragging someone's name thru the mud during a race. Everyone is entitled to there opinion but it definitely doesn't mean there opinion is right. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones..... cause we all make mistakes and bump occasionally, but some guys just bump all the time and then they shouldn't complain when they get the same treatment. But either way, complain to the steward not to everyone during the race. It's in the rules...... page 1.

As usual, I was disconnected so I missed everything :grumpy:

But... I agree that toom much talking from drivers is annoying and one thing I have always wanted to avoid is arguing ESPECIALLY WHILE TRYING TO DRIVE.

The rules are clear:

"Here is the procedure to follow in case of an important incident:
-In case of an incident, always first look at the replay
- If after seeing the replay, you still think another driver has disadvantaged you, first contact him by PM.
- If that does not resolve the incident, send a PM to the race steward (host).
- Steward will review the replay and if necessary take a race-decision.
- Never accuse another driver publicly."

So I think, from next round we maintain "radio silence" after the formation lap...

Hey Canu, You're right I was going to fast... that's why I overshot. Not your fault and not blaming you in the least...

The private message doesn't work.. tried resolving it amicably first but to no avail. I understand rubbing is normal and Im totally cool with that. Its part of racing. I race with you, bronzo, driver and quick enough to know that and you guys are clean, gentleman racers. I try to do the same aswell. I can handle a mistake and will move on from it... no hard feelings whatsoever. But constant knocking from other drivers, sometimes deliberately, is not on and it happens more than once. Its like you trying to run a marathon and the whole way through someone is ankle tapping you the whole time.. Its not cool and disrupts you and prevents you from getting on with the race. Its not the first race that it happens but in the past three. PM to resolve it doesn't work as a solution, hence my frustration.

Sorry to all for the moaning but it was really frustrating racing like that. Will have my MIC on mute for the next races.

hey guys,

i dont think we need to have radio silence, who ever wants silence can mute everybody, but there are a few of us who still want communication, so i will mute everybody except the ppl i want to be able to hear. so maybe before each race decide who to mute and who not to mute.

i can think of a few who i will be putting on mute. lol

but the guys i practice with will not be muted as we race in a similar style, - C L E A N.

but in the end it is up to homes to decide.

Hey Ally..... I can understand your frustration, I have watched the replay and can see why you feel the way you do. It seems everyone lost there head last night, thankfully I wasn't a part of it. Lol. I seriously think we should all have a chat online one night, like a drivers safety meeting....haha ha and discuss who we think the problem guys r. If we all agree, then possible Homes can have a chat with them and ask them to calm down a bit. We r all men here and we shouldn't take things personally, and if we get reprimanded for wild driving we should take it as a positive criticism and try and improve. It is just one or two guys that r ruining it for everyone, and if it continues it's just going to become ugly, and that's not fun. This is just my opinion..... what do u think Homes?

I am down for the drivers briefing. I joined this series because its fun and most of the guys are gentleman racers and an absolute pleasure to race with...Clean and give great commentary and advice, which I like a lot. You don't get that often. 👍👍👍

I didn't even realize there was name-calling involved o_O And I could hear everyone on the mics, I never mute people because I don't play with any random kids...

I don't play with random kids either Carb, it's actually illegal in our country, especially after the whole Michael Jackson incident;)

I am still confused.....wtf did I do wrong at Monza, can you all please watch the replay and tell me, because according to Willfred I am the dirtiest driver out there.

I will say this again.....I don't drive dirty, I try to keep it as clean as possible.

2 Important things:

1) Bumping and driver sportsmanship - I think that this series is becoming more competitive and most drivers have improved their speed bigtime. Some drivers want to get to the front so badly now that they have started driving more agressively which has lead to a few debates lately. The whole idea of the series is to have fun. The fun element deminishes when the agression levels rise and when it's not fun anymore people won't want to race. The way I like to think of it is to imagine we are in real racing cars. In real life you would not make silly, dangerous overtaking moves because, you would damage your car or the crash would hurt alot (or kill you and maybe others). Those are the kind of moves that we think we can get away with on a game but they are the ones that cause conflict. So please drive like you would if your life was at stake and try the following:
Position yourself well in tight corners so that you can be in a good position to get slipstream when you get to a straight. Also, when you go into sweeping corners and the car in front has left a gap and you can get into it, that is fine but don't stick your bonnet halfway up the car in front when going into a tight corner where you know the guy in front is going to turn sharply and cause a crash. Its all basic stuff guys. Usually people ahead of you have earned the right be there so do the right thing and race them fair. Remember that if someone does bump you it is probably a mistake and they will know it. We all know that we are all capable of driving fair (a nice example was at Indy where Bronzo bumped Canu and then waited for him:tup:) If anyone thinks there is a specific driver or 2 who I should chat to then please let me know and I will. Deep Forest can cause loads of incidents, so lets all drive super fair...

2) This weeks race

When???

Friday night ???

I totally agree Homes, we all want the racing to be as real as possible, that's what makes it fun! I'm cool to race on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. And i have given Homes my opinion on whom I consider to be the consistently most dangerous ( real life lol ) drivers, so 4 all the guys with gripes...... this is your opportunity to say your say.

Homes, how about publishing the championship standings? It really excites me now that there appears to be 4 drivers closely battling for the first place...

If we agree to do Sunday night again, is there any chance of a 21:00 start time (SA Time). Its just a little easier with us that have kids, getting them ready for bed and school the next day???

Kind of late, but thankfully not too late... Yeah, everyone should take into account the ones with kids, but also the ones who are still kids themselves :)

I can race anyday this weekend, so let me know when we are racing. AS for dirty racing, I may be considered a soft c98ck, buit would rather back off and relinquish the position than actually knock or resort to dirty stuff. I never saw anybody last race because i was too far back, so cannot comment. But guys this is ony fun, so lets stop the name calling / slating and focus on having fun. We are a good enough bunch of guys, so lets keep it that way.

Consistency points

Guys I could not make a backup of the race on sunday because I was disconnected. :banghead:

Did anybody else make one?
