Forgot to add, the 1.32 is with a "dirty" on one cretain corner, which I am not telling you all about, bronzo knows the corner.

Agg, here it is. After the longish back straight and then through the flat out chicane, sharp right hander, through the other chicane, there is a sharpish left just before the bridge and the last corner before the main straight. Anyways, you can "ride" the second last corner, just as you go under the birdge. No penalty and you maintain nice speed for the last corner. The other dirty that you can do, is to "re-arrange the furniture" so them little chevron thingies on the corners can be "pursuaded" to move into the road. They do not slow you down, well the big white ones just before the main straight will definately slow you down, but the red ones are cool.

A few questions about the Lupo cup:

How long do the tires last on the Lupo's? We will probably have to have shorter races because the lupos are slower than the GT cars. So where the GT cars run say 30 laps in say 25 minutes, the lupos should do maybe 20 laps. Will the racing soft tire even wear out on a lupo in a 25 minute race? Or should we make at least 1 pitstop mandatory in the feature race, just to spice up the tactics? This will make teams think hard about pitting together so they can be assured of someone to slipstream with when they come out the pits so they don't get left on their own (especially if they pit in the early pitstop window).

Should we specify a different tire to make the racing more challenging? Maybe sports soft?

Homes - You could just make it a ruling that you have to perform at least one pit stop in the two given window slots.

This way, even if tire wear is minimal, you still need to stop.

👍

Maybe we can run the sprint race on comfort soft tires or racing hard, and do the main race on racing soft with reverse grid order. Or the other way round. Either way it'll make it spicy.

The Lupos, don't really wear out their tyres at all. So you will need to make a pit stop window type of thingy' So in a 20 lap race, the pit window is laps 8 to 12. Mandatory. I would suggest that you keep the racing soft tyres, the comfort or sports will take away some of the fun, IMHO.
I would also suggest that you have a vote on the cars, or put together a list of suggested cars to use. I enjoy the Lupos, but if i had a choice, I would definately choose the Suzuki GSX 4 or even the Elise 111RM.

Have any of you done the DLC yet? I looked this morning, but it was still not available? I am curious as to how much the cars cost and stuff like that

Dude....you off the pace.

Homes, Zuat and myself all did 29's last night. Think Homes got down to a late 27.

:sly:

suggestion

3 races per event

1.lupo 440 pp x 15 laps with pit stop (no window) except no pit last lap. all aids allowed with damage off.

2.lotus 111 rm 500 pp x 10 laps no pit with skid recovery allowed only ito aids and light damage on

3.road car 550pp x 5 laps no pit and no aids allowed with full damage on
- any road car, no concepts, or prototypes allowed. the car you choose can stay the same or we could say any road car for any event.

same track with slipstream weak on all races.

points get added together

points same as current championship so total maximum points for race day 90 points for being 1st in every race event, this way some ppl will be fast in lupo's and other might be fast in road cars,

what do you guys think.

so the racing will be 30 laps in total for the night.

reverse grids can also apply

Just an idea. this way we all have a chance.

I think it's important we stick to a same car series and keep the length of the races at a decent distance. The shorter races are very slap dash and there are always massive incidents because you don't have any time to pass. It's fun, but throw points and a championship into it and there will be mayhem. I thought all of us were looking for realistic clean racing?? If everyone's not happy with the Lupo championship then let's VOTE, but a sprint race of say 8 laps and a main long race with a reverse grid order is the way to go o believe. The Lupos are something completely different, with a different challenge for everyone. It's more about racing and race craft and less about car and car setup, that's what makes it so much fun!!!! But hey....,... Let's vote Homes:)

I just like the idea of racing in a series that is as close to real life as possible.

This series now for me is super real. Set up - practice - qualifying - this could be happening in real life.....awesome

I think a Lupo Cup will do the same, we try to imitate a real life series "Polo Cup" / "Lupo Cup".

One short race - One long race - Pit windows - Pit stops - points - PP rewards.

This is all real.

If the guys now are concerned about the Lupos and dont really enjoy driving them, then we can always make a production car class (remember Group N) or a hatch back class.

Ford ST - VW GTi - BMW 1 series - list goes on.

We need to decide soon guys or Homes must just put something together and we go with it.
