
We had approximately, ummm, 0 cm. for most of the winter. In fact, for the past two or three years, we've been able to go out in t-shirts and shorts in the middle of January, on some days. Granted, there are other days, when you feel like you're in Britain, but, it's not too bad.
As for the Toronto/Atlanta thing, they're also very similar cities, I'll admit, but, the point remains, that there are parts of Georgia which aren't paved; pavement's a necessity for skateboarding.
P.S.: "skating" refers to "ice skating" in indoor arenas, in Canada, since the water, (because of global warming, or something) rarely freezes, outside, anymore. "skateboarding" refers to skateboarding, in Canada.
