The specs are just about spot on. The evora is the fastest on Daytona's straights. The Camaro is unbeatable in the infield. All fell in the low 1.50s in lap times for me. The Ferrari, Camaro, and Evora was 1.50.3s. The Audi and Mazda were 1.50.5s. That's pretty damn close if you ask me. đź‘Ť

I might be able to test later tonight. I'm still on the road on my way home. But it looks like I want to get at least in the 1:50's.

We just got off, after a few EPIC rallycross races at kart space! XD

...watch out for that in the interest checks....

Here are my results at Daytona. I only have these three cars tuned and ready. Sorry in advance for the incomplete data.

Ferrari - 1:49.327 Was done specs before Polar revised them.

Audi - 1:49.738 shocker for the night. You can get on the throttle early with this car and launch out of the corners. Lost pace on the straights obviously.

Camaro - 1:50.116 kind of disapointed here. Hopefully I can do better with more seat time. Car feels good though. Kind of puzzled on where I can find the extra time.

The Ferrari does its damage on the straights. I would be within .2 in the infield and then loose time in the straights and the bus stop.

If I had to point out any inconsistencies it was at the bus stop. Brake to ealry or late and it ruins your lap. Hopefully this was the case with the Camaro.

Gonna see what I can do with the Evora and Mazda next. Probably wont have anuthing to report till later on the week.

Cool!

Odd that the Audi was as quick as it was for you.

Cnd was actually faster than me when he was in the Camaro and I was in the Audi.

I initially said +10kg to the Camaro, because it was just killing me all over. And +5 hp to the Audi to help it out on the straights. This very well be exaggerated at Daytona because of its oval part.

Anyone still have their times from Suzuka? That is probably the best spot, because of its corners and relatively fast end.

Proof that the Camaro needs no weight đź‘Ť. I will do a Daytona test tomorrow for you's. (Only cause Polar asked nicely :sly:)

Ehh...new time for the Camaro. I checked my settings and TCS eas set on 5.

All the cars I'm testing are brand new from the show room. Hence the TCS on 5.

Anyway, new time is 1:49.943. I feel a whole lot better with the car now. It was going to keep me up all night.

Aaawwwwhhhh yeaaaaaa!

Now watch, Paul will tell us what to do with specs- they will be perfect.

And asking nicely is very helpful in life. No one likes a mean person, only be mean when you're the boss and yelling at your workers when they do something stupid.

At least that's what I've gathered from when my dad yells really loud at people.

Who would've thought you'd get in trouble for selling a truck 5,000 under what the dealership paid??

Don't knock the others results though. :)

What are the current specs btw.

One moment. This post will be edited of someone else doesn't post in the mean time.

Audi R8 5.2- 410HP, 1320Kg
Chevrolet Camaro- 430HP, 1320KG
Ferrari 458- 415HP, 1330KG
Mazda RX8- 430HP, 1270KG
Lotus Evora- 430HP, 1300KG

I did a bit of changes since FH's post, so these aren't the same specs he ran, Ferrari has -5 HP.

But the rest should be the same. I'm tempted to add 5hp to the Camaro, since it was the slowest, trying to bring the Ferrari and Camaro closer to the Audi's medium time.

In my tests I test all cars before showing my results :P. I do try to do slowest first though for fun to see how and where the faster cars gain on the slower cars laps etc. (2:45am here so expect my results in around 10-12 hours)

Paul I'm being selfish and lazy here. Can you test the Mazda and the Evora first? :)

;) the evora, when it gets in a draft, is a rocket ship! I passed Cnd and a guy from the spot race like they were standing still!

And once again the Audi the benchmark for... everything!

Hey Shin, if you don't mind, would you like the team name to be team Forza Italia?

I don't care what you call it. It's still a little early. You never know, I might not get to drive the Ferrari.

-_________-

Apparently someone has missed post after post of:

"You can't call teams! You have to wait for the draft, at which anyone can take any car that is open when they get to choose."

So what shin said.

So when will the draft be held?

Well, that's where it gets tricky.

I just finished up the track graphics tonight (they're in a album on my profile) so that's a good chunk done. I want to make a divider to use to separate different sections, and I may have homework this week.

Homecoming is this weekend (I'm not going, not many of my friends are, and I don't want to be that guy without a date...) and we may be going to a Pirates game instead. If that doesn't happen, the draft could be during rolex's time. We will all be on the season 3 thread, and just go down the list and choose our rides!

After the initial draft, you can switch with people, but you both have to tell be that you both agree to it.

AAARRRGGGHHH going to watch the Pirate's.

I won't be able to get on PSN if we hold the draft Saturday at Rolex time. I can do it though.

Yea I should be able to at work. :sly: I spend 50% of my time at work sitting on GTP anyway :dopey:

Alright, sweet.

So, that means everyone will be selecting the cars they want to race with for season 3!

Which brings us to the next step: who is interested in season 3? EVERYONE interested post your name!
