Hoping to break my "Massa" streak at Daytona, I've been driving like utter crap for about the past week for some reason.. What track is tomorrow? I thought I heard Suzuka?

There's the Camaro's banner, don't forget to put their team name like:

It feels more organized. Blame my slight OCD.

Nurburgring GP/F for tomorrow sounds really good. Then on Thursday Monza. Friday we should vote on the track, just a preference.

Races should be same time as normal season (6:00 EST), or whenever MrM or Polar aren't busy.

Oh, and I messed up on the countdown at the OP. Here's the fixed banner:

So despite my "hey let's start this thing officially in August" idea, its gets ignored? Ok cool, I'll happily miss potentially three proper season races on the trot and **** up Dodge's chances for a Manufacturer's title, don't mind me. :grumpy:

Seriously though, I don't wanna miss races, but I know I'm missing at least one of them. The other two are iffy. This Saturday I'm working until midnight, so if you guys could wait it out for another half hour (7:30pm, should kill you US guys should it?) I don't mind starting at the back of the grid.

I'll definitely miss Monza in two weeks time unless I do absolutely NOTHING for my birthday that weekend. I do plan on going out, and I do plan on getting pretty w*nkered.

Here's the problem, I have school mid-August. Which ruins Audi's chances of a Manufacturer's title. See where I'm getting at here? I can only run in racing series during the summer. Once I'm in school, I'm booked. Starting the season in August will also let others lose interest in the series. I'm sitting on the bottom of my chair everyday for an event (I'm really liking these weekday pre-seasons) and pushing the series back a month will make me lose interest. It's basically a deadlock, unless we want to start the series next summer for no delays? I say just get the series done and done and hope next season doesn't interfere with anybody's schedule.

I'll try showing up tonight also. And to be fair, Cow did sign up before James's team did. But I think he will be happy in the 458. He was already fast with it in ALMS.

Forgot to mention the 458 I was in last night was 7kg's heavier than original specs. :sly: Not much I know.

My wife was watching me race last night. When we were in caution and the Camaro kept hitting me she kept yelling...BRAKE CHECK HIS @SS!!!

I think I'll show up in the RX-8 tonight. Polar made a point earlier about these races being about getting the RX-8 right.

I heard talks between Monza and Suzuka. I personally think that Suzuka is a better track to test the balance of the cars. But it really doesnt matter if we are running races each day this week.

I am ok with waiting another half hour. That doesn't bother me. The ITCC might run late, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Wait to comment what? That's not a good sign with you...

And I have updated the OP with the Camaro's HP cut (now 490HP) and have added cowboys to the ferrari squad.

James, we're ok with spots someone signed up like 3 times lol!

And Cnd, pm me the details of your concerns.

Um... I'm on the Camaro squad...

I even registered for it, and beat the other Camaro drivers by 1/3 lap....

I love your wife already, FH! It wasn't Mel in the Camaro was it? He has a habit of tapping the rear bumper of the car in front (usually mine :sly:) during formation laps. :D

If all the drivers looking to race in the RX-8 use different specs, then that'll be interesting to see and better for feedback. Again, I don't think I'll be joining the races tonight unless they're finishing around 1-2am. I've caught up on my sleep and can catch up on more tomorrow if I need to (no work til the evening, so have hours to spend sleeping)....

ghskilla, that blows man! I'm so used to people going back to school early to mid September that I forget its different elsewhere. I can always just get sloshed on the Friday (my actually birthDAY) since I've booked it off from work, and chances are work has forgotten my request to have Saturday booked off anyway, which means I'll be finishing around 9:30pm -10pm and won't feel like going out after anyway.

If everyone didn't mind waiting 30mins this weekend though, I'd love you all forever. Daytona is one race I DON'T wanna miss. :D

I would be willing to wait 30 minutes extra for Storm.

That was me, I kept getting nailed by every car behind me, I even tried backing right off and they still punted me right into you, even on a pace lap. I think we need to work on our pace laps, because more people spun and crashed on those then during the actual race.. That shouldn't happen.

@Cowboys: Pretty sure I had quite a big lead over you most if the race ;) Except when my tires completely fell off at the end. Racing slicks don't exactly work in heavy rain.. In fact the only person I saw during the entire race was Hawaiian and we had a fantastic battle until he spun and quit.

Well I had put inters on a few laps before. :P

Therefore I was faster in the rain. :P Did you have the problem in Eau Rouge too with the sliding?

What time will tonight's race be? I'll run some laps at Nur AND Monza now to prep myself. IF you're not racing too late for me that is....
