What should the best tire we use for Season 3 be?

 Guilty as charged! I also wouldn't have it any other way. However, are you sure that the Camaros can last LONGER on tires, than the nimble Ferrari with front downforce? The Mazda's only fault is the lack of front downforce, and it's a problem shared with the Camaro. However, the Audi, Viper and Ferrari, which can save their tires better, all have front downforce.

As I said, I'm basing this off of the past 3 races, and in Tokyo daibaspeed actually lost one of his rear wheels (it was all gone) and he was losing tires quickly. But not as quickly as the Mazda. When I was testing the Camaro it had decent tire wear. Not tested the Viper, but I think it's the most balanced out of all the cars, it isn't the all-out fastest race-pace wise, but it keeps tires well. I actually based my tire wear off of Tokyo and Spa last night. I would lose so much time in the first 3 laps then I'd slowly but surely catch up to the other cars who lose so much grip in cornering. And can you make the race at 6pm EST?

Get your names in if you're attending! We need an estimated measure as to how many people will go.

Just so everyone knows speedfreak will be running a all black camaro tonight because he send me the car for work to be done and I can't send it back until late tonight. So I am going to send him the car tomorrow before I send Mac K the CTSCC car.

I had a decent race. Was kinda lagging with a couple people. I got destroyed on the straights with the draft and 10 less hp. But I chose to run that way to break in the car. I ended up with 499hp at the end. Shin divebombing me at the end was cheap IMO. He was a ways back and takes the corner from me, then drives off to win. That hopefully doesn't transfer to the regular season. I know you'll say different but if I'd done that move you'd 'call for my head'.

Here are time lapse photos of the incident. I will let everyone decide for themselves. I will not release my opinion.

The Viper needed to be more well-rounded this season, and the switch to the ACR was just the ticket. As I said, I could only manage 7-8 laps on softs at Daytona with the Viper last season, but I'm pushing 9-10 per stint this time around.

He spun the tires, slid into Seth, he was counter steering when he spun before hitting Seth, looks unintentional.

I personally think that the Toyota should have at least yielded the turn rather than crash look how deep Shin is already before the turn. I also think that the Sauber shouldn't have dive-bombed into the corner, because 1. It was raining 2. Look at the Sauber, it's way off the apex and possibly needed to use the run off 3. It's a tight as hell corner. I have a video of me overtaking this one guy (cleanly) and you should have at least yielded the turn rather than hit him like this guy did:

But in all honesty, it kind of just looks like a regular racing incident. No malice was intended.

You guys butchered my name! Just put me down as MrM or Mel. Everyone knows it's me.

I say thats divebombing.

By definition, divebombing is vague. This series doesn't have a dedicated rule about when it IS and when it ISN'T divebombing. However, I'm curious as to why Seth left that huge gap. It seems like he braked a bit too late, and then turned way too far to the right. cnd, I think I would have gone for that gap too. Whether we can all be angry about how that gap looked or not, I see you on your side of the track, trying to hold the inside line, and Seth just not expecting your closing rate.

The stills aren't enough. Seth's claiming that Shin divebombed him from a way back, so you're gonna have to show a still at the moment of braking for both guys. I'm inclined to think that by the line Shin took that he came into the corner quite hot from that position.

That could work!

Basically, we have like a 40-60 minute race for the 1st round, just chill out and test our cars for two hours (or have a bunch of exhibition races, or even do some F1/Karts/Shuffle/Or just plain free roam) and wait for cnd and others to show up?

Sounds like a plan!

I've said my piece on the racing incident. I'll probably get told to butt out again, though. Let the grownups talk an' all that.

Yea, but don't make it biased!

I am not going to voice my opinion for the sake of starting arguments; however, I can find ways in which both are guilty.

Shin is offline. It does depend on what line though. He certainly isn't on the line I would prefer. This photo proves that

Seth's wheels are countersteering a slide before they make contact. This means that Seth was out of control before the contact. Look at this photo right here.
