The single thing I love most about this game

Atlanterhavet means Atlantic Ocean in Norwegian (and Danish). Not 100% sure about the vegen part since I'm Danish (would be vejen in Danish).
Cheers, that's what I thought. The real place has 'veien' which is road (or so I'm informed) and that gels with the Danish I'm guessing - the Dutch is Wegen, so I was confused as to why Evolution used vegen instead of veien, unless it's dialect.

Anyway, a damn good road to race on :)

The real Atlanterhavsveien looks amazing on real street view (google maps) 👍

I wonder if the fake Scottish circuits have actually adapted and tweaked real roads!

I know what its roughly aiming for (Loch Ness/Loch Lomand style) but I'm interested in what its based on...

Didn't @AudiMan2011 post up some Google Earth pics way back at the beginning? I think the similarities are there alright, though I wouldn't like to hazard a guess as to how close to the real-world layouts the tracks are.

From what I researched, I figured the general location is around the west coast area near towards the Isle of Skye.

The bridge at The Kyle, to me, looked like the Skye Bridge:

The castle on the same track, I thought looked like Eilean Donan Castle:

Trotternish is the northern-most penninsula on the Isle of Skye:

The Loch Duich circuit I reckon, is around the south eastern corner of the real loch:

That's from what I gathered

Someone else the other month (can't remember who? It might have been @AudiMan2011 as well ;)) also mentioned Lake Shoji in Japan was pretty much like the game too. I even found the swan pedal boats

Definitely wasn't me who researched Lake Shoji. I only did it for the Scotland tracks. 👍

The single thing I love most about this game... does "the forum" count? :P

I like the fact that the game gets people (playing) together or even against, in a friendly way thanks to the race-duels. So I most likely the Community Challenges.

Also glad there is no re-wind function and that you don't need always to become first for getting all stars.

But I think the most awesome thing is that the devs reading through different forums, answer our question, sharing the community pics within the game, read all the feedbacks, continuously updating the game, adding free things and so on. Basically, the game as it is today was developed by Evolution Studios AND formed by us - the whole DriveClub community over the world. :)

Drive Together, Win Together, Develop Together.
