Here is my eventful start to race 2 last night.

They were part of my new race ready inspection team and wanted to check the underside of your car. They noticed it was also just slightly overweight and decided to remove the rear bumper to bring the weight within regulations. I expect you thought it was just 2 drivers being a bit too keen to get off the line.

Yep, all caused by me not getting off the line well; that auto-clutch re-engage thing that PC2 does. I should add that @Napalm_LT very kindly waited for me and let me past.

Here is my eventful start to race 2 last night, leading to the not-quite-a-barrel-roll.

Half, I'm sitting in an office waiting for my next appointment and I'm mortified by this video. I'm not sure if it was me or the darker metallic blue car that was at fault but I'm sorry nonetheless.

In a previous race I got a good start off the line and tapped someone in the back. In this race I got another good start and moved to the open area in the middle to avoid hitting the car in front of me. Problem was that another car had the same inclination and collided with me, or me with him.

That's a terrible way to start a race for you and I'm really sorry for my part in it. As one of the faster drivers, you're always a threat for podium and I'm wondering where you finally finished.

Maybe the stewards can determine fault by reviewing it. If I was at fault (it wouldn't surprise me) maybe some of my points can be given to you.

I love being included in these races but never want to be the cause of ruining someone's race experience.

I sometimes use the clutch at race starts. It works well when you get it right. Not so well if you stall the car.

@slthree Don't worry about it; the fault was mine and you could not have done much differently. If anything, you couldn't capitalise on your good start because of my poor one. It is just a fun series and I made up a few places in the end anyway. No harm done.

Well that's over then. Some may say thank goodness for that.
But I hope you all had a smile or two somewhere along the way during these frantic races. I had a good chuckle at a few incidents yesterday. We'll have to perhaps try that again sometime using the trophy truck, that would be interesting!!

Congratulations to @AndreasR* for getting to the front of the pack, at times I think that was the safest place to be. I'll get that coveted executive chair packaged up ready for transport. Although customs did mention there might be some kind of problem with contamination!


As for what's coming next? Well I'm not entirely sure. I have a few ideas but none are quite finalised yet (been playing too much PC3!). There is one that's more complete than the rest so I might go with that, it just needs a few tweaks and a write up making. So once again watch this space...
