Yeah, the chatroom has really slowed down the production of the thread's heaviest posters. What has eX wrought? (And why can't I stay away from the chat?)

This thread is (or was) renowned for the insane speed at which it moved. Now though, it.... it just isn't the same when it's almost totally devoid of activity. Perhaps this is a turning point, where people will no longer complain about it growing by 200 pages since they last visited.

Hey, looks like this is the first case ever where a scam email can lead to something as brilliant as what we were discussing last night. I just hope Mint doesn't do something silly and, you know, delete that email. We need that 3 million to get us started

I couldn't get that song out of my head the whole time I was riding before. (About an hour, and I only had about 10 seconds of song so it was on a bit of a loop.)

That story was just so cute. Cheered me up a little after the whole connection debacle I went through last night.

In a day or 2, once everything is installed and in working order. Right now I'm still stuck with this nigh on useless 3G connection. I know this may sound unthinkable, but I'd like it if JJ refrained from uploading part 3 of The Greatest Story Ever Told until my ability to discuss Holo-Gentlemen-Cinematography without any hitches is restored.

It was a bit of both, really. I went in and they couldn't get my old modem to work (install software was wiped), plus they could only offer me a new modem which wouldn't have made any difference anyway. So I thought "🤬 it", and just went for Virgin instead (which is much, much faster anyway, plus now I can still connect to XBL and PSN). I'm going to cancel my contract with 3 once it's all installed.
