I decided to experiment with the new style. Coffee mentioned, that it looks similar to Solar-Slash style. And I guess he's right. I like his style.

I thought your art looked like someone else's style, it didn't click until you mentioned it just now. It does look like SS's style, you should keep it up SS's got a good style.

I will not fully copy his style. It's not possible and it's not nice. I'll just learn some tricks, just like from JJ.

And drawing male ponies is harder. They have different heads with big muzzles.

I was going to say that you should stick to drawing ponies in your own style rather than try and emulate someone else. Learning some tricks from other artists is alright though, so long as you don't completely copy their style.

Your style is unique, and trying to copy someone else's will possibly mean losing that distinctiveness.

I dunno, experimenting with other styles definitely helps, gives you a good understanding.

That said, I do love your style, Unit. You've spent a long time refining it, I'd recommend you stay true to it.

Not bad really, I like the colour set up and the shadowing is great. However the outlining is quite wide, it spoils the figure a little bit. Other than that there is nothing to criticize, looks great and I really like the colour for her eyes.

Yeah, I've decided to make the line art thinner on some parts, notably the legs. If it wasn't for these bloody power cuts I would have done it by now, but I'll get it done tomorrow sometime instead.
