Personally, what he did was the equivalent of urinating on a war memorial, and I don't know many people that would accept that.

Regarding the charge however, I don't see where they pulled racism from.

All I know is if you talk like this to police in America

This happens to you

Cops need to be tough or trash will run over them, as seen in the first video and in the riots

Well the first video has clearly been over dubbed and shows how the police will "bend the law " to their own means* through sour grapes. The second shows a fat bully in a uniform assualting a kid 1/3 his weight and handcuffed to the rear. I don't quite see how this reflects well on tough policing.
* the sergeant in the first clip is saying that having a multi tool in the boot of your car is against the law, it isn't. Not in any way shape or form.

The whole "weapons in a public place" situation is terrible.

Carpenters and gardeners have been taken to court in the past because their tools were in their vehicles at a time or place the police deemed inappropriate. It's a complete joke.

Tell me about it, I had a run in with a spotty little schoolboy in a police uniform who tried to confiscate my Leatherman tool because it was inside a tool box and locked in the boot of my car. His arguement was that if I were attacked in my car I may use it as a weapon. So if I'm attacked in my car I'm going to unlock the boot, find my tool kit, rummage around for a Leatherman, find the blade and stab my attacker?!? I just had to enquire as to the colour of the sky on his planet. I've been the victim of a knife attack, my attacker had a hunting knife with a 7" blade. He purposely collected it from his house, drove to my house and attacked me. He got 50 hours community service and a £100 fine.!!!! The point being, the police will look for an easy nick to keep the targets up. But are much less willing to spend time properly investigating and prosecuting real criminals.

What was he doing inside your toolbox in the first place?

I was parked in a car park where some car badges had been taken from cars. Not really a crime a 47 year old with no criminal record would normally be linked to but innitially I was happy to cooperate.
