Alright, here's my idea on the ultimate racing sim.

You would have to place gps markers/sensory devices along all major roadways, streets, Hiways, and Interstates. What these sinsors would do is relay *live* data back to the game engine where actual traffic in real-time would be calculated and introduced into the car population on the roads that you are driving on. No more AI for car population. This would be most effective in games where car population plays an important role in increasing the intensity of game play.

Just think about it for a sec., and never mind about cost or technical limitations to make this work.

What other aspects to Real-VR could this have?
 
I was in Pennsylvania once, traveling up to school and locked my keys in my car. It was almost 1am, and noone was around to help. Back then I didn't have a cell phone, and there was no pay phone available. My Girlfriend at the time started to panic. I pulled my sleeve over my hand and punched right through the side window. Who needs Onstar?:P

(Side note: It was January 22nd, and freezing. With a mere 3 hours left in the trip. In retrospect, I should have broken the rear passenger window, and I wouldn't have froze so bad.):cold:
