Tell me, how do I do this? I have yet to find an "Edit Title" tab anywhere...
Click on the "Edit" tab on your first post of the thread (should be next to "Reply"). Then, below the space where it says, "Reason for Editing" (or something like that), there's a space that says "Title". Change your title there. 👍 ;)

Good work with the muscle car challenge! 👍

It will be interesting to see how the Charger R/T holds up in the rest of the tests. Bought one just yesterday to play with 'round Seattle and was expecting basically the same feeling as the Superbird (who doesn't remember the driving mission with the Supertanker in Seattle?) but was VERY surprised.. I thought the car handled very good and had a very pleasant and accurate turn-in.. Nice..

Cheers!

Thanks! :) About the 'Supertanker'-- it only sucked because ASM was on. Who in their right mind would put ASM on a 3600 lb land-barger?:dunce: It actually is a decent car in (virtual) reality, and makes a pretty nice club racer. Now, the only reason the Chevelle is even close is because of brute force and taller gearing. In terms of handling, the Charger R/T and the GT350 Mustang are the way to go.

Well, maybe in it's next iteration...

Stuff like the SRT-4, Tiburon, Spoon Teggy...

how about we do a tuner car race you know all those cars you see now a days customzied like tiburons eclipses lancers.... kinda need for speed underground, but more realistic.

Haha...that would be interesting. Like seeing which company's paint dries the fastest :D I can see it now "The SRT-4 took first with a blazing time of 14 flat, and in a very close second, the Honda Civic with a 15.8!" I definitely prefer realism of NFSU :D

Just to fix your history a bit, the GTO was actually (debatably) first before any other muscle cars/pony cars, especially those on the list. It is generally recognized as having started the whole musclecar era. And as for pony cars, they started in '65 (or 64.5 if you wanna be technical), so it kind of all started around the same time :)

Yeah, I know the whole disputed issue between the GTO and the Mustang... I believe the press release of the GTO was 2 weeks before the Mustang, thus the whole closeness issue.

I'll finish Seattle testing in a bit. Have some priority issues right now.

Nah. I say keep it in the same ballpark for the power-weight-ratio. Make the playing field more even, so to speak. :)

Not quite a bad of a mixup as Seattle, the Superbird once again takes the win. Dunno what that's about, but maybe Infineon will shape things back up.

You know...for Nostalgia's sake, I might restart this for the first time in a year. Provided there is enough interest around. ;)

So this is what you were telling me about in my thread.
Cool I like it :)👍
Yep, this would be it. :) A lot of time and energy put into it... And now there will be some more. I'm doing a Front Engine Front Wheel Drive series now....16 Cars like the

If anything, I do have one interest (Thanks, George.:)) I had to make a few modifications to the main list. I added like six cars and took two out. All of these vehicles sit on S2 (Sport Medium) tires.

I don't think the beetle cup car should be in with road cars, it's a bit unfair.
But then, it's your decision.

But then, it's your decision.

As it stands, the car has like 215 hp, weighs 1100 kg, and has a sport suspention. Just like the TRD Celica and Spoon Civic. I just made sure to purchase a set of S2's for her, too. (Since Beetle Cup's come with R1's stock.) Other than that, it's pretty well a level field. If the vehicle continues to dominate, I'll remove as necessary. ;)

Driver's Notes
The bumble bee Civic hums its way up to first, edgeing out the Beetle by only .025 a second. The Super-Focus shoots ahead of the SRT-4 and Suzuki's Mini-Me2 concept beats out the original. Also notice the porker Eclipse sneaking its own way to fifth. Will it provide an upset? Not if the Turbo Volvo has anything to say about it...
