Jailbreaking isn't illegal though. Unless you're talking about the kind with iron bars and whatnot.

Jailbreak under US law is not illegal so it would be fine. Just mention if it's a jailbreak app so we know.

Probably thought that because apple does everything they can to try and get it banned and only talks about how awful it is for your phone lol.

Seriously jailbreak is way to go. Takes 2sec to do and becomes a usable Iphone device. I have a 3gs which I loved but couldn't do too much with and upgraded to a S3. Now that I jailbreak my 3gs it's actually awesome. I recommend to everyone. Plug your Iphone in and since to iTunes that. Get that jailbreak and do it. Look on Google for best apps or just use the featured apps in cydia to see what's cool the best apps obviously are paid but I haven't bought anything yet and am still having am awesome time. Next day or so I'll update with. Some sick free jailbreak apps.

SleepyTime: It's a bedtime calculator that gives you the best times at which you should wake up. I haven't tried it since my phone can't upgrade past FroYo, but I use a similar website that essentially is the same thing 👍

Afterglow - One of my current favourite apps. Easily the best photo editing app that I have tried!

VSCO CAM - Another photo editing app. This one is a lot simpler than Afterglow but you can still get some nice looking photos out of it, great for on-the-fly editing.

Cleartune - Probably the most useful app to me. Accurate instrument tuning and very clever use of the iPhone mic.

OZ Weather - For the Australian users; a more advanced weather app than the standard iPhone app. In-depth information, easier to get readouts from weather stations closer to you, features an animated radar.
