I'm sorry but a few recent supercars being left out never bothers me. Supercars come and go.. just the flavor of the week. There are always people whining about a lack of a Koenigsegg CCX or whatever. To be honest, those people have little to no taste in autos in my opinion. At the very least, I see them as so short sighted that they only seem to appreciate the "here and now" cars.
A real tragedy? That would be the lack of the BMW E30 M3 in the Gran Turismo series. One of the most pure "driver's cars" of all time. One of the most successful touring cars of all time. A car with a real racing pedigree. Now that is a glaring omission from GT5.
That's pretty much how I feel. Okay, I don't know too much about "older" cars, I'm so young that I remember the E36 M3 to be my absolute favorite supercar

However, I also think it's nice that GT always shows several angles to cars, not just the most expensive cars that celebrities and sheiks drive around.
Back on topic, of course I can make a wishlist, but I want you to know that I'm not sad because they are not in GT5 and won't be sad if GT6 will also focus on other cars (and their physics, sounds, ................)
so, here goes...
Skoda Fabia before facelift - because it's a great normal car, has gotten me everywhere and was reliable, and it's got a Ralley-Brother which would fit perfectly in
okay okay I get it ... but newest Polo GTI then??? 👍
Then, a premium Veyron I would like. I understand that some people don't like its looks, or people think a true sportscar can't be so ... well ... fat

but anyhow this car is the peak of engineering and it is to be seen if a car like this will ever be built again, with economical and ecological aspects ruling over car enthusiasm. On a side note: why is a Kübelwagen or Schwimmthingy premium, who will drive that more than once, if forced to in a challenge, seriously??? No offense.
further ideas, guess everyone already mentioned:
Porsche 918 Spyder
Aston Martin One-77
Aston Martin V12 Vantage
Gumpert
Audi S5
hmm wow thats pretty much all I can come up with right now, all the other ones on the previous pages ... well ... I don't miss them! Of course, I'd like them better then a Kübelwagen, but hey, seems I'm one of the few NOT to be disappointed by the 1000 cars in GT5
