Could someone post split times for golding Suzuka and Nurburgring in lap one and two. I have only those two remaining, will attempt it today. I just can't figure out, if I'm in the neighbourhood of gold allready...

From what I can remember concerning Nürburgring on the first lap, the split times are:

1st Sector - 0:19.9~
2nd Sector - 0:33.9~
3rd Sector - 0:48.7~
End lap - 1:04~

The first and second laps are very similar. You can even manage to make it under the 1:04 on the first lap (my best was 1:03.7~ but I failed on the second one). If you do a great first lap, cruise the second one. If you're around 1:04.25~, step it up on the second one, you have a 0.2 second (or 2 deciseconds if you prefer), but you can lose it very easily if you don't take any risks.

I'll check later as for the Suzuka one. Hope that helps.

Hi there,

Please chalk me up to the Vettel gold list too, thanks.

G25, manual transmission, Skid Recovery Force = On, ABS = 1, all other assists off.

Enjoy the ride. Thanks for watching.

2:07.944 at Nurburgring GP

2:03.986 at Monza

2:09.917 at Suzuka

Yes, yest, Vettel was fantastic run :) I did it because this challenge stayed on my way to Platinum trophy. So needed to be beaten.

Is it easier with a DFGT or a DS3, I'm thinking of using the DS3 for it because you can jerk the car around faster, but I might have more control with the wheel...

It's much easier with a wheel.

Hat's off to those who've done it :) I've unlocked the challenge and gave it a quick go this morning... damn, that thing's fast :P

After about 10 tries where I didn't even make it to the end of the 2 laps, I finally managed to finish it... in 2:43 (nurburgring) >.> I'm not worried about getting gold just yet, I'll be glad to get 3x bronze :D

Do need to get a new wheel though, using my old DF at the moment (yup, that's right... DF, no GT, not even P, just plain old DF :P) It's fine (well, it works, sort of) for the "normal" cars, but the lack of FFB and the overall ricketyness of it really shows with the X2010 (or X1, as mr. Vettel insist on calling it :))

Haven't tried it with a DS3, can't imagine that working really well either though.

Took this december 13th, crappy phone camera quality but you should be able to tell they're gold

Thank you very much! Will try out today again. Apparently I am loosing in the second half of lap. I can manage 33.9 ot 34.0 in 2nd split with not much effort ... as for 3rd split I think I can't manage under 49 and the end is at 1:05.5.

I have a feeling where this time is being lost ... the right hander before 3rd split is where I guess I can squeeze out a bit more and in the last corner ... Chicane is not a big problem also.

👍

No problem.

All you need to do is brake as late as possible. After a few failures, you'll find the right spots where to brake (look on the track, there often are tire marks that help).

That right curve you're talking about after the S-turn is pretty tricky. You don't need to brake a lot there. If you're not too fast, just release the accelerator and you should be good. If you're too much on the center/right of the track before the turn, just give a little brake and start throttling as soon as you feel that your car is in the correct line.

The final curve is also not that easy. What I basically did is remain on the total left and brake until the very end. If you do it correctly while steering enough, the X1 should be facing the outside of the rail. And when you reach half the curve, start accelerating.

Overall, the Nürburgring is the one that took me the most time to gold. It can be really frustrating, but if you stay calm and remember what to do at each curve, gold should come within 2 hours maximum.

I'll come back to you with the Suzuka sector times when I get back home tonight. :P

Alright, updated the first post with new club members and my own three gold runs. And kudos to those, who posted their evidence already! Thx!

Has anyone in the world done it with a DS3? Is it even possible?

Nobody really knows as of now, but most people suppose nobody has done it, yet.

And most people believe it is impossible to gold all three with the pad, only Monza seems doable.

Stune - thanks for taking the time to make your videos. I watched nearly all the license ones. Although I cant get the back end to slide like on many of your videos they gave me an idea of what to do.

Seriously, you got gold in 30mins - your insane!

Good Job!!

LOL ... tnx. I just have a pause now. Been trying for about 90mins and got frustrated. It just seems like the car is handling a bit different as I am used to. It just won't steer. And I keep hitting that 1:05.5 on lap one and I did get a 1:03.1 on lap two. :nervous: Will take a look at some replays now if I can pick something up :)

Don't really see it as that much of an achievement but add me to the list. Not arsed providing evidence, check my trophies if you need proof.

A question: is everyone using manual shifting? Since I'm using automatic (I keep hitting the rev limiter in manual) and I took a look at some gold replays and they all brake later than me...
