Could someone post split times for golding Suzuka and Nurburgring in lap one and two. I have only those two remaining, will attempt it today. I just can't figure out, if I'm in the neighbourhood of gold allready...
Is it easier with a DFGT or a DS3, I'm thinking of using the DS3 for it because you can jerk the car around faster, but I might have more control with the wheel...
"The Golden Hall of Fame"💡....so I can pat myself on the back for the third time...all good fun
From what I can remember concerning Nürburgring on the first lap, the split times are:
1st Sector - 0:19.9~
2nd Sector - 0:33.9~
3rd Sector - 0:48.7~
End lap - 1:04~
The first and second laps are very similar. You can even manage to make it under the 1:04 on the first lap (my best was 1:03.7~ but I failed on the second one). If you do a great first lap, cruise the second one. If you're around 1:04.25~, step it up on the second one, you have a 0.2 second (or 2 deciseconds if you prefer), but you can lose it very easily if you don't take any risks.
I'll check later as for the Suzuka one. Hope that helps.
Thank you very much! Will try out today again. Apparently I am loosing in the second half of lap. I can manage 33.9 ot 34.0 in 2nd split with not much effort ... as for 3rd split I think I can't manage under 49 and the end is at 1:05.5.
I have a feeling where this time is being lost ... the right hander before 3rd split is where I guess I can squeeze out a bit more and in the last corner ... Chicane is not a big problem also.
👍
Has anyone in the world done it with a DS3? Is it even possible?
Nobody really knows as of now, but most people suppose nobody has done it, yet.
And most people believe it is impossible to gold all three with the pad, only Monza seems doable.
This person has claimed to do all three golds with DS3.

No problem.
All you need to do is brake as late as possible. After a few failures, you'll find the right spots where to brake (look on the track, there often are tire marks that help).
That right curve you're talking about after the S-turn is pretty tricky. You don't need to brake a lot there. If you're not too fast, just release the accelerator and you should be good. If you're too much on the center/right of the track before the turn, just give a little brake and start throttling as soon as you feel that your car is in the correct line.
The final curve is also not that easy. What I basically did is remain on the total left and brake until the very end. If you do it correctly while steering enough, the X1 should be facing the outside of the rail. And when you reach half the curve, start accelerating.
Overall, the Nürburgring is the one that took me the most time to gold. It can be really frustrating, but if you stay calm and remember what to do at each curve, gold should come within 2 hours maximum.
I'll come back to you with the Suzuka sector times when I get back home tonight.
Don't really see it as that much of an achievement but add me to the list. Not arsed providing evidence, check my trophies if you need proof.
Oh, they're similar. Too similar to justify having a second thread. If you wish to continue this discussion, please do so in the aforementioned thread.https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=138844
