Well, I gotta apologize for introducing these models, since this thread is all about VGTs anyway. But would it be awesome to own at least a small scale model of the cars that we only get to play virtually?
What exactly do die-cast cars have to do with GT6? There are threads on GTPlanet for those kinds of things. This is the GT6 section. Why is talking about VGT scale models is considered off topic? It's the same as talking about real size models and digital models in the game.
I would love to have a collection of VGT, but that would be very expensive.
I have no problems with news about die cast cars posted here. I never venture to the die cast thread at the Rumble Strip because I'm not a big collector, but I still find these things cool. The VGTs are exclusive to GT6 so it's still related to the game.
If people start posting die cast news about every normal car in GT6 then you can complain. Otherwise I don't see a problem.
This isn't a GT6 thread, this is a more general Vision GT thread. The concept of this thread isn't a difficult one, we post anything and everything related to Vision GT (including model cars). So it's a problem on myself that I saw new posts in this thread expecting them to be discussion on the cars in the game, or, by an odd chance that a new one was revealed and news of that was posted, only to find out that it was posts about collectible models?
It's not taking things too seriously. It's an expectation that something GT6 related had been posted in a thread pertaining to GT6 material that resides in a section of the forum related to video games.
So it has no relevance to this thread then...?
So...yes but it does look very vgt style, and maybe the Lambo vgt will be derived from this car

another one-off from Lambo for Pebble Beach (public debut at Frankfurt Motor Show) but it isn't the VGT yet

Why would it be?Is the Hyundai Vision G Concept destined for GT6?
Why would it be?
Apologies for the double post, but it looks like some pertinent news have finally arisen regarding this project;
Plenty of good questions can be raised from this picture... Why did Bugatti use a picture of a Gran Turismo pitcrew? Did they forget to remove the game's logos? Is this a prelude to a possible Bugatti VGT, or the Chiron?
The Chiron is more likely, with a prototype rumoured to be getting revealed at Pebble Beach. Dual reveal for the Chiron in real life and in GT perhaps?
It could very well be a double unveiling of the Chiron's prototype. The cases of the GT-R R35 and the Corvette C7 prove that Gran Turismo can unveil a car as it's being unveiled in real life events. If that's the case, then we'll see a new road car be added to GT6 in a long time.
But I still have these lingering doubts; if it is a prototype, couldn't it suit the VGT guidelines? Perhaps I'm gasping at straws, but I still have that feeling...
This is all we have to work on.

Doesn't look particularly wild like a VGT.

That's going off the presumption that the teaser hinted to a Pebble Beach reveal, but there is still a possibility that the teaser is for something completely different. This is all we have to work on.

"myriad. When GTPlanet spoke to Kazunori Yamauchiat the Goodwood Festival of Speed, he suggested that there were more manufacturers queuing up to join the Vision GT project than the initial selection, though he couldn’t say who! "Because it's the classic "It has Vision on its name, therefore it must be a VGT (when actually it isn't even remotely related to the project)" train of thought, of course. You'd think that people would've learned by now that such a belief is simply not true and/or accurate, but I guess some are just too stubborn...
