Aren't many VAG cars made in Mexico anyways?

Import costs shouldn't be that large to increse prices. I think VW just thinks it's cars are good enough to command a premium price. God knows, I don't think they are.

Last time I heard the cheaper cars like the Golf and Jetta get made in Mexico and the rest are in Germany.

I walked underneath an A4 Jetta at my uncle's shop, once..."Hecho en Mexico" was printed on just about every single piece down there....

The old Corrados where awesome sports cars. I don't know much about them except that the VR6 versions could scoot and they all handled well. Did I mention that they looked good? All but that stupid unibrow that everyone puts over the grille and headlights. A new one might be cool, but, especially in the states, only enthusiast-type people know what they are. They have they're fan groups, but they're small. I mean, everyone knows what a VW GTI is, but the Corrado? They could base it off the TT and base models would compete with WRXs and stuff. Slap a turbo on or whatever else VW has laying in the hi-po parts bin and you have an EVO and STi fighter. Maybe it could put VW into WRC racing.

Not if it looks like this.....Luckily its a artists impression. It looks portly.

Bah, I like the concept drawing better than that. That one looks fat and porky. The drawing made the car look low wide and sleek, the ront fenders were more pronounced in the drawing.

The main difference is that the drawing featured a longer hood and shorter rear. It also just looked like a lower car overall.
