I'm going to guess many of us posting in this thread (especially the older posters) grew up riding in the back of the Family Truckster. What was the wagon you grew up in? For me it was a 1965 Mercury Commuter wagon much like this, but pale yellow. My dad bought it brand new in 1966, getting a nice discount since it was an unsold ‘65. I learned to drive in it. 390 V8 and drum brakes all around.
