It's possible for several parts of the Northern US to have snow in April and sometimes even have snow in May. It's just that everyone is fed up with snow by this point of the year and any snow from here on out is greeted with immense hatred and frustration (far beyond the hatred of snow in winter).

Coupled with the fact that my snow was so close to being gone and now it's back.

The snow isn’t the unusual part, it’s the fact it’s been cold enough for it to stick around for longer than a few hours.

I’ve also seen some very confused looking birds these last few weeks.

It's somewhat decent today (warm enough for snow to melt, which is a plus), so you're in the clear... for now.

High of 41°F today. The temp will drop and a couple inches of snow expected overnight.

I'm being optimistic though and am running the snowblower out of gas and putting it in the shed today.

Seems most of Europe is in for some freak heatwave coming in the next few days which makes a nice change from the horrible winter we had. Predicted to reach the hottest UK April day on record.
