Cheers spyrrari. I missed that post about changing (makes sense to do something different), only did a lap in that and the London TT.

I was surprised how fast I was knocked out of the top 100..

New time 1'16'606 Good For 76th at this time.

GTP_nd4holdenspd, 1'18.116

That's the best I could do, for now at least. The brakes ended up getting on my nerve, big understeer in the brakes.

Man that is a great time!! 👍 I am just wondering how you did that without going off the track? It is hard to be as fast as the top ten without going off the track..

I love driving this from the cockpit, but without that nice big tachometer in front of me like in bumper cam, I miss shift after shift. I'm not even close right now, 1:19 something or other, I'll try to find some time tonight to have my nerves frayed by the sound of this thing. I'll try playing with the brake balance as well, thanks for the tip spyrarri.

This is Yamato-damashii.

Super lap Ken773

I looked it up and...

Literally, "Japanese spirit"; Yamato damashii is also written 大和魂. This term is often contrasted with "Chinese Learning" (karasae), that is, knowledge and scholarship imported into Japan from China. Yamato damashii refers to an inherent faculty of common-sense wisdom, resourcefulness, and prudent judgment that is characteristic of, and unique to, the Japanese people. It also refers to a practical, "real life" ability and intelligence that is in contrast with scholarship and knowledge acquired through formal education.

It is a term used to express such ideas as the essential purity and resolute spirit of the Japanese people, the wish for the peace and security of the nation, and the possession of a strong spirit and emotion that will meet any challenge, even at the expense of one's own life. Yamato damashii is synonymous with Yamato gokoro (lit. "Japanese heart").

Though it becomes self-praise,
this becomes an expression like " isagiyoi " if it says more
concisely.

When the culture is different, it is also difficult to translate it.

I gave up on this, no sub 16 lap for me.

What really pushed me over the edge was when I turned the DFP 90 degrees the F1 wheel only turned 45 degrees. I had to turn the DFP 180 degrees to turn the game wheel 90 degrees. Also going over the rumble strips and out of bounds in certain areas gives you alot more speed and naturally I try to drive inside the boundaries. So I quit
