That first one with Mickey has this dark feeling to it that contrasts wonderfully with the typical Disney mood. Do like.

First photo of the D600. She's pretty.

First proper photos taken by the D600 after playing around a bit. IQ is insanely good.

Took a few days off work, I just didn't feel good at work - not health-wise, it was more of a "meh" day. Thanks to my boss I got the week off. Obviously, I had to get something done and went to a nearby (~20km) zoo. I noticed that the annual ticket is the price of 2 one day tickets so I bought the annual ticket. More photos will be posted throughout said year, naturally. :)

The red panda shot looks awesome.

Congrats once again and keep them coming. 👍

Really liking the last shot. Looks as though you are enjoying your new camera, I remember you grumbling about your previous one at Le Mans. Incidentally I found a picture of you at Le Mans that I took which I can send over if you want it?

:scared:

Sure, PM it please. Thanks! :D

Proof, in case anyone is interested: http://imgur.com/a/Ooyi5. I don't get why anyone would prefer JPEG over RAW. The whole "You need to get it right out of the camera." is stupid, in my books - why should I try to achieve the impossible (in terms of lighting etc. especially at public places like a zoo) when I can simply create the desired effect in ACR, CaptureNX etc.?

Hey congrats on the D600!

JPEG is okay, I like RAW but have to admit I'm shooting JPEG too sometimes.. It's a dumb thing to say JPEG is 'better' than RAW...

Really liking the shot of the red panda, the shot of the rhea too! The photo is so sharp but feels soft in the same time :D

JPEG is better than RAW depending on who you are or what you're doing. Not everyone cares to fiddle around in post, has the time, or even has a pc that can handle it. I also fill the buffer a lot faster with raw files while on continuos burst, not that I use it that often. ;)

Really digging your zoo photos, super jealous of you D600 owners! :)

Your photo gallery of crude animals is amazing, I'm being envious of you as an owner of the D600. ;)
