The Worst Car You Have Driven On Gran Turismo

I hate to say this, but... The Ferrari FXX. Body roll is a **** on stock springs which tends to result in it oversteering when you put the power down. It doesn't help that you can't adjust the aero to make it more stable, either.
Problem solved:

Ferrari FXX flat tracks setup

Ferrari FXX bumpy tracks setup

Gradual lift-off oversteer technique advised.
Enjoy the FXX as it's meant to be driven!

In a more recent note maybe a lotus elise in GT5. In the first GT's I absolutely hated anything with the TVR nametag lol and to add insult to injury back in the day PD forced you to get unconfortably acquainted with the TVR Grifith since the International A license tests were all taken with the Dynamic duo Viper GTS(a car I actually happen to like a lot) and TVR Grifith (which I loathe like the plague)

Ruf btr is the worst when it comes to oversteer.

A quick and easy tune is to equip front tires one compound harder than the rears. (Ex: SM rear, SH front or CS rear, CM front)

That usually calms them down. Same with many MR cars like the Lancia Stratos.

The Dualnote/DNX duo are not too bad once you figure them out. They are not too unlike the Pug 205 in that you can power understeer out of a slide. They do lack the mechanical grip the HSC is blessed with though.

Cizeta on the other hand makes the Stratos seem almost tame. At least Stratos is PP competitive also. Cizeta suffers from PD valuing torque heavily in PP calculation. Slow for it's PP, and being just a pain to keep straight puts it close to the bottom of useful cars online.

I think the Cizeta is a nice car at 450pp with all the weight to the front and CS/SH tires. That's meant sort of tongue-in-cheek, but I did that and had a nice time at the beginners seasonal at Daytona International last July.

Speed twelve of course. The Speed 6 is actually very good 👍
Speed 12 drifts well at 900bhp with CH CM tyres.

In GT2, the race version was a match for the Toyota TS020 on rippled power circuits like Midfield. Using right stick as throttle helped a lot. Speed 6 was faster on rippled handling tracks.

The Speed 12 took awhile to tame in GT2 for sure. I used to just stretch the gears out on it, that worked very well. It had the same snap oversteer issue Cerbera LM had, only exacerbated by the extra power.

In GT6 it responded well to rear ballast and SR changes. Like many cars it has been PP nerfed sadly.

I say the overall worst cars are the NSX-R, GSXR/4, and Chappie 2J, with the 2X and Hybride/LM55 being runner ups.

Oh they drive great every one, but you just brought a main battle tank to a fist fight essentially.

Driving the Audi R8 LMS rubbed me the wrong way when I first drove it, and any subsequent time I tried driving it. It honestly felt like it gripped when it wanted to. You could be as smooth as possible in corners, and one second you're fine, and the next second, it's like you drove over a patch of ice. Hate that car. Hate it so much.

Knowing the real life LMS is probably pretty docile, (being an endurance racer and all) makes how it drives confusing.

I could see a driver going for a 3hr white knuckle ride... It would keep you awake though I admit.

Speed twelve of course. The Speed 6 is actually very good 👍

 Seems the opposite for me . The Speed 12 was the car I finally won the Willow Springs S class race in. Tried 7-8 different cars with varying fields, got close with some, but no cigar. I tried the 6 a little while back for a seasonal....didn't last long...

In terms or driveability, the XJR-9 deserves a mention. It's a speed demon on the straights, but on corners you'd better be ready for the understeer. I already have a tune that fixes this and it drives well now.

Audi streamline. 'Nuff said.

So the following are just my opinons. I'm very opinionated! :banghead:

I like that Audi, but it needs staggered tires. 500-or so pp with SM/SS tires and its a killer at the 'Ring in the Schwarzwald League, 550 to 600pp with SS/RH and it wins the Touring Car Championship. It's capable of winning the current Historic Car seasonal at Mt. Panorama. I couldn't do it ( yet ) but in the hands of a better driver it will win.

I like the Delta Wing much less.

And the Speed 12 is my go-to car for the rainmasters. I turned down the power and added nitrous to compensate.

I think you spelled Autobianchi A112 Abarth wrong there.

With a tune it would finally come around. But if you attempted Kei Cup with that gem all stock you were in for a bad time.

I hate the Shelby GT500 with a passion.
A Live Axle cannot cope with 660BHP.
Not even with TC on could I drive it without Massive Uncontrollable Understeer.

I know this could be a bit controversial, but anything with a badge that reads "RUF" (besides the Boxster Thingus and the CTR2) is a right pain on SH tires with Assists off. They are very good cars with tunes but stock they are a :censored:ing Nightmare.

That's my obligatory rant done for the day. :irked:

I also despise the Veyron in GT6 (Too bad considering I loved it in 5) and the Deltawing. It would be competitive if only it had 100 less PP.
