I thought I'd think that, but apart from the app UI that I've now customised to my liking, it's still got all the features of 7, you just have to know how to get to them. I believe 8 is the only one with support for DirectX 11.1 (or 11.2, not sure) and will likely be the only one supporting DirectX 12, although I'm not sure on that. That's why I chose 8, anyway.

Yeah my 4670K runs at 29°C all the time, that's with the Corsair H80i.

I'm super satisfied with my R4 and would always make the switch again from my 500R to the Fractal Design

Same here. So far *knock on wood* I haven't come across anything I can't do on 8 that I need to. That start button business needed to be remedied ASAP but other than that, everything that I frequently use works exactly the same as 7.

Did a test on RFactor with simtek addon + Graphics Settings maxed out. 750FPS at Monza in a Porsche 997 Falken GT2.

Well PayDay 2 is capped at 135 FPS. I maxed out RFactor and running 60-300FPS depending track.
