What made me laugh was when I was at the Fuji Speedway one on one with someone else in a blue F430 called thundurclese. I had a bathroom emergency so I had to drop my GT-R at the pits and went, but when I came back, the blue F430 was in the pits with me, I thought that was so funny

I guess he had to do a pit stop too.

Once of mine was I turned into the corner at daytona in my GT LM and I left go of the stick. I ended up going into a GTR and I somehow did a grind on the roof of the GTR. I did finish in 1st BTW.

That's funny  I remembered that I was at the Daytona Road and 5 people was heading into the last corner, one lost control of his car and messed everyone up, I ended up in 8th place. I never forgot that moment

what I like the most and cracks me up allll the time is at the new Fuji pro even with the GTR the Vettes and ferrari...what I do after gettting punted sooo many times of the first corner in the first lap, is to slow down and let everyone get in front while keeping about 5 seconds between me and the last guy....and practically EVERYTIME they all just go Bazzzookkka in that first corner....EVERYTIME !!!

and me.. (5 second behind the last idiot) just cruise by hugging my apex like a true GT driver and always winning the race...

try it...seriously....you'll have fun...

My first day driving online today, I found much of it amusing. I never would have thought the bad driver was as big of a problem and simultaneously not that big of a problem. Long story short I was running Fuji beginner. I was using the Evo but the only competition I had was with the NSX and the Evo couldn't cut it. So I switched to the Tii.

2nd race with the Tii I go into the first corner everytime and late apex and accelerate hard down the next strait, this avoids most punters because well they are idiots and turn the corner to soon and early apex into the grass. This time however one of those idiot NSX drifters as I've began to call them drifts into the side of me. Sends me off. No problem, I'm now 12/12 and I am like I'll just hot lap. Well I wound up in 2nd by the first turn on the 2nd lap, and gave the 1st place NSX way to much heat and he early apexed himself off the track at the third corner hair pin. 1st place for the little Bmw that could.

Seriously I can't wait to race professional where the physics won't allow these idiots to drift the way they do. Even on standard they are slow out the corner and I eat them on the straits even though they have the faster car.

Welcome To the world of GT5P-ONLINE

Seriously though, it does have it's great moments, especially when you are racing with people from your friends list or other online names you have raced with before and can " trust " as being "good ole guys".
You will learn as time goes on the names of people who you can and cannot trust while racing, and as far as punters go,if you are good enough, you can usually out race them, incidents will still happen, just grin and bear it.There are good days ahead of you for racing online. 👍

There's nothing more amusing to me than when I'm braking to turn into spoon, then see some ghosted evo fly through me at 140mph because he thought he was going to ram me.

Lol, this is preety funny when it happens. It kind of defeats the purpose of the game. But, it still happens. FALLL!!! cant wait!

1 word.

Suzuka's last set of turns before the starting line straight....

You are in the lead about to pull it off and win the race...

For some reason, the guy behind you ALWAYS thinks he can cut the corners and ends up ghosting or getting a time delay. Its just hilarious

When somebody on the last lap in the F2007 event at Daytona cut the chicane on the back straight to pass me and crashed into the wall. :)

i havent been playing it much yet, because i dont have GT5:P, but a friend of mine was playing and i was at his place, i had a go and was racing arund suzuka circuit, i wasnt doing bad, in 3rd place with a big gap either end of me, i turned into the last little chicane and out of nowhere this GTR comes flying into the back of me, he hit me so hard i spun sideways and went further than he did, he spun into the gravel trap and lost the race, but because he hit me directly side on, all i had to do was brake and countersteer and i still finished 3rd! JUSTICE!

I still laugh at myself when I TRY to drive that GTLM.:nervous::yuck:

I think I have a better chance of getting hit by lightning as opposed to getting this car down

10 minutes ago at Fuji (800) i am following an S2000 driven by a French guy, at the hairpin he braked way to early obviously to cut across the grass, i had no chance of avoiding him and took us both out, i eventually finish 3rd and him 10th, he then sends me a message and calls me an English cheating ******, i tell him that i am not English but Welsh, he replies what is Welsh and why does it show me as coming from GB? so i am now a cheating lying English ****** :)

Last night - Fuji 550pp fwd. Coming off of the long gradual righthander before the r.h. hairpin on back side of track , Mr. punter comes flying full bore thinking he's going to nail me hard , he ghosted out and ate a bunch of wall for supper,he sat there for a lap until I came around again, thought he would be cool and try it again , guess what ? he was ghosted , ghosts can't punt. :boggled::lol: :ouch: - hows that wall taste,a little bit of salt and pepper maybe ?

I've noticed a weakness in some Italian and Spanish drivers.. on few occasions, they have showed good driving skill, following me closely. I was in the Clio, they were usually in NSX-R's.. they could hang with me thanks to the draft. but then, just out of curiosity, I let one of them pass and clued myself in his rear bumper. Clio's acceleration is better than NSX-R's, so that gave me advantage over him.. so, we went on around the suzuka.. his lines kept degrading until he finally slipped into kitty litter. I've repeated this experiment few times, with similar results. they just can't take the pressure and keep their eyes in the road instead of mirrors.

I find it hilarious when some drivers can't keep up in rabbit cars
On suzuka expert 550p RWD for example. Passing Clio's left and right or watching them spin off when I'm gaining on them. Classic.

Has anyone seen that old film called 'Dual' where this truck driver is chasing / ramming this man in his big truck and the man being chased has a little car that can only do about 90mph. Anyways this reminded me of that. At the old 750pp event at suzuka expert, I was racing in a tuned cappie which didn't stand a chace on the strights. I was turning the hairpin the overtake a tuned clio and i give him a little bumb going round the corner(not on purpose and it didn't ram him off the track). He spent 4 laps trying to ram me off the track. The reason it reminds me of Dual is because heres me in my 'Tiny' little cappi and him in a big tuned clio trying to get me lol. I got away from him in the corners but i thought i lost him and clicked the rear view button and there he was!, i was so scared!!

It was yesterday, i'm with my Skyline and a guy with a Tuned Cappucino appears, in the first 5 laps i was more than 40 seconds on the front, but i decided to stop and wait for him. I was playing with him and in the 8 lap i start to race seriously again. But... in the first corner i always forgot to brake and in the end, he won the race. -.-'

PS: Sorry for the bad english.

Well that could happen to anyone even to F1 drivers, you see it happen now and then. The driver in front will miss a brake marker or turn a fraction too late and miss the apex abd be slower out of the corner or stand on the accel pedal to hard etc etc If your all over this guy like a wet blanket it`s only a matter of time until he makes a mistake. Im surprise a spanish guy drove so well, from online experiances they are generally dirty punters. Naturally that is just an assumption as it only takes a few rotten eggs to spoil the whole batch.

Suzuka PP750 Intermidiate online event...outrageous comedy.

Packed to the hilt with 12 bulldozers on a rolling start every time. It's like a cult thing. Like fight club. The driving is well...beyond description. Utter chaos and madness. And nobody seems to care. No disconnects or sour grapes here folks. Cars flying off track, ripping through sand and ghost machines. Lag to spare. High speed mayhem I did not imagine was possible online in GT5:P. The rubber band effect is immidiate and brutal. Any car can win with all the punting and cutting going on. It's un freaking real. the funniest part is you get a 3 second penalty for cutting Casio. Lord!

If you get a chance before the next update, experience it for yourself.

Edit: I should point out that while I do not agree with the type of racing that I witnessed and participated in at this event, I am in no way putting down the people who enjoy this race. After all, they're just having fun with the game. And doing a damn fine job of it.

Peace.

Just then in TVR suzuka 550pp. I was parked in the pits and the punters who were hitting me on the track decided that they'd come up and try and ram me while I was in the pits parked. Pretty funny to watch.

Waaaay back when the fuji 800pp was around, i was glued to a GTR the whole race and everytime i get on the straight, he slams on the brakes and i ram him (old trick in the book). On the last lap, he was gonna try it again. I saw it coming and i moved to the right just in time and took gold. Don't get me started on the punter times i have in the pro events now.

uh yea, a few days ago nobody was in expert so I figured I'd give that race a try. With all the punting and ramming I was running like 10-15 seconds slower a lap than normal...yet I was in like 2nd place.

The race was almost entertaining, but I haven't gone back since.

racing down to the chicane in the old 750pp days i was following this car and all of a sudden he braked and i punted him off,i thought wot was all that about then i realized he was turning right to take a short cut,i laughed all the way to the finish

At suz no mercy i was in my lotus and a gtr was gaining on me on the back straight. He rammed me to like 160mph instantly and coming up to the fast left, because the elise handles better than the gtr, i go through smoothly and he slams that wall flat. I laughed the rest of the race.

What made me LOL was when I first bought GT5P and was testing out the physics on Daytona Oval. I would stop the car right at the top of the track and it would slide all the way down to the bottom. They have since fixed this (SpecII) because I tried it again after the SpecII update and the car stuck like it should.

Not a funny moment but I was very suprised and impressed when I was using the cockpit view and notice that the secondary gauges were also functional! I love the little details like that because it adds to the immersiveness.

Was racing suzuka 600 rwd. First lap: everyone stuck together, nice close racing. After the first series of corners, this gtr FLIES by. He went very wide in the chicane, I passed him on the inside, but on the straight he flew by again.
I'm guessing he had S1 tires and maximum power, very nice tune :)
He was actually quite fast, but there was a lot of swapping positions :D
